Madison Green Country Club

Beautiful, challenging course. Tee times were right on top of another. no spacing whatsoever, also no marshal to be seen. Way too many groups and very slow play. we had a 12:45 PM tee time and we did head to tees at 12:45, only issue was that there was a 3 (ladies) red and a 3 (guys) white presumably the husbands all on their respective tee boxes. I feel bad for the folks that started after 1pm. there is no way they finished all 18 holes. we finished the 18 holes in a little over 5 hours. way too slow.

Fantastic Layout. Very nice and varied surroundings. In some places it had a Hawaii type feel. Turf was not perfect, but understandably difficult to manicure every inch of such large fairways. Turf had no negative effect on my game since greens were decent. Very high value experience for the price. I will choose this course over all the other public courses I've played since moving to the area.

Madison Green is in good shape for winter golf. It presents a tough test of golfing skill. Undulating layout with water and sand hazards frequently coming into play, you need to play smart golf. All in all, a wonderful day on the course!

Great course. Great condition.

Range officer had no clue sending people out. Full course and never drove through to check pace of game. Almost 5 hours to play 8 holes before I gave up. Great course and value but sat at least 20 min per tee off. Then again on course.

Waited on every single shot way too long. Group in front of us were very slow the entire round. There needs to be a course marshal to make groups keep pace with groups in front of them. Ruined the experience! May not ever return!

Greens played well. Most on the faster side, which I prefer. Too many ball marks not repaired. Sand traps good except too many people don't rake them when finished. Fairways played well but grass is sparse in some places. All in all, I like the course.

Course was extremely tight especially from the tee. Greens were faultless, excellent pace and no patchy areas. Club house was old and the bar food was poor.

Had a six some in front of us wasn't fun. They could have let us through but didn't. Will not play here again too many good courses out there.

I am a 20+ handicapper and can make my way around a golf course. This is a thorougly enjoyable course with decent greens while fairways are a little worn but playable. Very nice, helpful staff (only my second round here is five years as a visitor to FL coming down from NY area). I'd play again on this visit to FL.

Great layout ! A true Florida track with water in play on nearly every hole. . Fairways could be a bit better. Greens were quick and fine. Would definitely recommend.

Second time playing. Booked 4 rounds in advance. A little easier second time. Course is so tight it helps to have prior experience when flicking a line.

Very slow pace of play.

Absolutely abomination- pace of play was beyond excusable. Not only did we not go off on time but we waited on every whole and every shot. Told it opens up- wrong.

After 8 holes, we decided to jump in front of the slow group in front of us( they were really bad) only to find another back up-

We left the course and went home- you can’t play golf like that - too frustrating.

My guess, the let members go out between slots and caused the issue.

Very disappointing.

From the White tees the par 3s are short even in back flag position. However, greens are small. Fairways are in good shape and Greenside are tight lies withe fast greens. Lots of fairway choke points to contend with from regular tees Most peopled will bei tested and it is fun.. Greenside bunkers abound.
