With over 200 courses in Palm Beach County, architect John Sandford knew he would have to create something special to get attention. At Madison Green Country Club he did just that, creating a unique course that combines many of the best features from local courses, with a few surprises all its own.

Over a thousand palm trees line the course as do over 100 bunkers and 42 acres of shimmering lakes.

One very interesting aspect of the design is that not only does the course get longer as you move back in tees, but the shot angles also get increasingly challenging. This means that the good player not only has further to hit but must also place the ball more accurately on the fairway in order to set himself up for his next shot.

A young teen, his father, his mother and even his grandfather playing together from four different sets of tees will all experience a fair challenge for their respective games that still remains enjoyable!

A little beat up

Course was in fair shape. Greens could use a grooming and light sanding, not rolling very true. A lot of bunkers have zero sand and are hard as a rock at green side locations. You can tell this place gets a lot of cart traffic with compaction issues everywhere. It’s priced well for the conditions, just needs some help on the maintenance end. The staff and 19th hole was great!

Not worthy of “country club” title

Vastly disappointed in this course. We felt like we were playing on an abanded course that we found along the way. The cart paths were more like sand traps throughout the course. The areas which were supposed to be roped off were all out of the ground.

Would not recommend playing here until they remedy these problems.

The staff was friendly but the conditions of the course was not good,

Course in horrible shape

The course was in the worse shape I have ever seen. I play Madison Green on a regular basis and it was very bad. Fairways, bunkers, greens…all terrible. Hopefully it gets fixed before season.

Best course for the money in the area

No complaints about this course. I play regularly all throughout Palm Beach and Broward county and for this price you won’t find many, if any, nicer courses. Also a challenge to shoot low scores here, highly recommend.
