About
With over 200 courses in Palm Beach County, architect John Sandford knew he would have to create something special to get attention. At Madison Green Country Club he did just that, creating a unique course that combines many of the best features from local courses, with a few surprises all its own.
Over a thousand palm trees line the course as do over 100 bunkers and 42 acres of shimmering lakes.
One very interesting aspect of the design is that not only does the course get longer as you move back in tees, but the shot angles also get increasingly challenging. This means that the good player not only has further to hit but must also place the ball more accurately on the fairway in order to set himself up for his next shot.
A young teen, his father, his mother and even his grandfather playing together from four different sets of tees will all experience a fair challenge for their respective games that still remains enjoyable!

tricky and interesting
The course is in better shape than when we played it earlier this year. It’s an interesting layout with some real challenging holes. I don’t think anyone would be bored by the layout.
Great layout
I love to play there. But the indication of the next hole are nebulus.
There us water for drink on thé course witch is great.
A lot of bunker and water hasard
Challenging holes but with accurate game good score is possible
It was first time for me on this course. I liked the layout and the environment. Course was in good condition. However, there were no toilets in the back nine and we were lost when trying to find proper bag drop and starter.
Pleasure to play
This course is challenging, well designed. Greens and fairways were in very good condition. The staff in the Pro Shop and the rangers on the course were very friendly. The pace of play was excellent. My 2nd time playing here and am looking forward to play again.
Sudden improvements!
this course used to be very nice, but has been deteriorating due to lack of maintenance. however, this past Saturday I found the course to be much better. Maintain lots of small improvements everywhere. It is very nice to see that the management is paying attention to the maintenance of the course again. With continuous maintenance, this course will once again be a very premium course. Way to go!
Solid layout but poor playing conditions overall
I have always enjoyed the course layout and level of challenge. Unfortunately, the playing conditions leave a lot to desired… the greens were in better shape than the Tees, or Fairways, but they were slow. The locker room was not clean, the golf carts old, gas engines which are very noisy and disrupt the enjoyment of golf…. The facility appears to be understaffed…
Good experience
First time playing this course. Many holes are very challenging with narrow landing zones. If your driver is off when playing here, keep it in the bag and opt for a wood or long iron. If you’ve got decent distance, you can manage fine off the tee with those on most holes. Some dog leg holes have a completely blind landing zone (unless you want to lay up with 250 yards left to the pin) and for a player gaming this course for the first time, these were the most difficult holes. Greens rolled with good speed all day but some reads can be very deceptive if the pin placement is right (looking like break and then the ball doesn’t break or vice versa). Overall a good course and I’ll definitely be back.
