With over 200 courses in Palm Beach County, architect John Sandford knew he would have to create something special to get attention. At Madison Green Country Club he did just that, creating a unique course that combines many of the best features from local courses, with a few surprises all its own.

Over a thousand palm trees line the course as do over 100 bunkers and 42 acres of shimmering lakes.

One very interesting aspect of the design is that not only does the course get longer as you move back in tees, but the shot angles also get increasingly challenging. This means that the good player not only has further to hit but must also place the ball more accurately on the fairway in order to set himself up for his next shot.

A young teen, his father, his mother and even his grandfather playing together from four different sets of tees will all experience a fair challenge for their respective games that still remains enjoyable!

My favorite course

Whenever I golf I check golf now and I always make sure to check it Madison Green has a hot deal. It’s my favorite course in the west palm area and with a hot deal it’s sometimes the cheapest. The greens were just punched a week or two ago so they weren’t in the best conditions, but that just means they’ll be better than before soon. Love hitting out of these fairways. Course layout is super fun.

I believe the course was aerated 4 or 5 weeks ago. I didn't see much new growth so everything was really bumpy. You would be best playing 2 putt greens as a maximum. Still a good value for the price I paid.

Course was good, the pairing not so much

Course was in pretty good shape, still some aeration healing but green speeds were good. Wish the tee sheet pairing, for which I don't blame the course, could not have been worse. An obnoxious family of three including a brat of a 12 year old that thought he had the skill set of a tour professional. While lacking in the golf skill department, he exceled at telling his mother to shut up repeatedly, yelling at his father, throwing clubs and generally having temper tamtrums the entire time whiel trying to convince anyone who who would listen that he was a scratch golfer. This type of behavior is a blight on the local golf community and is not welcome anywhere.

It’s different than most east florida courses down here and that’s good. It’s got some marshes, some blind shots to the green , and some rolling fairways. Water isn’t an issue if you can control ur ball, or if you’ve played course before.

Played in 4 hrs. Staff could be a bit more welcoming .
