Madison Green Country Club
About
With over 200 courses in Palm Beach County, architect John Sandford knew he would have to create something special to get attention. At Madison Green Country Club he did just that, creating a unique course that combines many of the best features from local courses, with a few surprises all its own.
Over a thousand palm trees line the course as do over 100 bunkers and 42 acres of shimmering lakes.
One very interesting aspect of the design is that not only does the course get longer as you move back in tees, but the shot angles also get increasingly challenging. This means that the good player not only has further to hit but must also place the ball more accurately on the fairway in order to set himself up for his next shot.
A young teen, his father, his mother and even his grandfather playing together from four different sets of tees will all experience a fair challenge for their respective games that still remains enjoyable!

Patients condition improving, continue to monitor status
In a bit better condition than the last time I was here a couple weeks prior. Still some crabgrass sprigs sprouting up on the greens, they need to be dealt with before they take over. Still a good place to challenge your game.
Excellent golf course
Weather was extremely hot and humid. Course is in good condition but the greens are a little slow for my liking. Ball still rolls true though. Definitely worth playing!
Very Disappointing
Madison Green was once a Gem! They let it go which is so disappointing. The course layout is still very much a challenge but the course is in the worse shape imaginable. There was water bubbles that were not treated that now have become deep standing water in the middle of a few fairways. On some holes it’s hard to tell the difference between the rough & the fairway. The sand bunkers lack any sand. The greens were surprisingly okay not fast but not too slow & look the best out of anything on the course. The greeter in the morning was first class & the girl in the pro shop was outstanding with her demeanor & professionalism.
Just really sad to see what was once a great great semi private public course fall to where it’s currently at.
Let’s hope they do the right thing & fix the course back to what it use to be.
Improved over recent conditions
Faiways a little more grassy and greens in pretty good shape with moderately fast speeds. MG conditions can be a little hit and miss from one day to the next. One thing I'd like to see improved is for someone to go around and pick up the trash, bottles and cans carelessly thrown into the edge of the woods and natural areas around the course. Finally - PUT THE RAKES BACK IN THE BUNKERS !
Enjoyable Golf Day
Madison Greens is a nice course and a good summer value.
Improved But COntinues To Need More Work
Last time here I was utterly disgusted by the conditions. It has seemed to improve somewhat but nothing obvious stands out as to why it's a bit better. Greens were fast however there is beginning to be a lot of crabgrass/weeds taking root in the greens; this needs to be addressed sooner rather than later as these greens can at times be some of the best in the area. No rakes in bunkers (COVID-19 IS OVER!!) so it seems that now everything there is to be treated and played as a waste area and not as a bunker.
Course was below average. No practice facility’s at all. Warm up a net hitting off a mat, next to the 9th tee which is a short 73 yard par 3. Chipping green was painted grass. Greens were atrociously slow, and meant for class C, D or amateurs and very old folks.
somewhat disappointing
Every time I come to West Palm , I include Madison Green. as one of my plays. It is a challenging layout but I enjoy it. I was surprised of the conditions. Not horrible but definitely up to what I expect. The green are running very fast. I still enjoyed yhe day and will try it again.
Great track for the price
There are some burnt areas and patches of nuisance grasses on the fairways, but not a big deal. Most of the googins that play there don’t know how to repair a ball mark so the greens can be bumpy, but MG provides a very decent 18 holes of golf. On the 15th hole a foursome seemed to appear in front of us, so slight slow down coming in. I played well, so I need to focus on the positive
