Love this place. Only my second time there, but it's a great round. Certainly a tough track though!

Very dynamic golf course. Incredible collection of tee shots with elevation changes. Fun and very nice!

Overall, very good conditions, a tad rough around the edges.

Confused at why the 14th is the signature hole. It has a big rock on the left side that represents what the place use to be...its the highest hole on the course, yes, but otherwise not all that visually appealing. Second shot likely to be a blind shot. Can't see entire hole from tee. The tee shot on 15 is one you will remember. I think there are many more memorable holes than the 14th. I think its actually one of the weakest holes on the course.

Tough to play for the first time, especially off the tee. Can't use driver every time, and fairways aren't as easy to hit as it seems.

Great place behind 18th to eat and drink.

This is quite a special place. Spectacular elevation changes and varying hole lengths and layouts. Superb conditions. Only complaint might be the GPS carts should warn you before you go in a 'restricted' area so you don't get trapped having to go in reverse to get out.

I came in from Houston to visit family and The Quarry was my first choice to play. I hadn't been here in 9 years so I wasn't sure what to expect but I can tell you from the moment we arrived until we drove off, the experience was incredible. The staff greeted us as we pulled in and was friendly and accommodating. We were greeted on the first tee with a friendly starter who gave us all the information we needed for our round. The course was in the best shape of any public course I have played in this area. The greens were firm and fast, and from tee to green it was well maintained. I would highly recommend this to any out of town guests as a must play.

Played the course with my son (3 handicap) - I'm a (12). Selected it as it is ranked the best public course in the area. Don't play too many public courses, but the Quarry seemed a bit pricey for the experience. I expected the views to be much more scenic and the layout to have more changes in elevation. The biggest problem was that I expected the top ranked course to have better green speeds. Putts simply would not 'roll out' - balls quickly came to quick 'stops'. On the other hand, there are some outstanding holes. On the bad side, there are about 3 holes, that just are not a good golf hole (blind drives that are not good on public courses, plus some holes that don't give you any target to hit a drive).

We had a tee time for 12:50 and we were not informed of a tournament scheduled for this day. We never went off until 1:45. There was no starter to get the groups off in a timely manner, and play on the course was extremely slow. Took us 6 hours to do 18 holes & we didn't finish the 18th, and we were only a twosome. Was not happy about not being informed of the tournament, if we would have we wouldn't have booked, but since it was booked and paid for in full we didn't want to lose our money.

I really enjoyed the Quarry. It was a good mix of long and short holes that reminded me a lot of Blue Herron in Medina. Course was not busy, we played without ever catching up to anyone. Great elevation changes and conditions. My only 2 complaints are for the management. One, there are many restricted areas where the carts shut off, it would have been nice to be advised of this rather than figuring it out on our own. Second, the course was overwatered and sloshy in places(it wasn't from rain cause it hadn't rained in 2 weeks prior).

Drove from Marietta, Oh. To try this course out and wow I am so glad we did. The course layout was a lot of fun but be prepared as this is a very demanding driving course.

I recorded my 3rd hole in one on this course as well that day as well!!!! I think it was number 6 a short downhill par 3 120 downhill with a p wedge.

We had a superb day playing the course. The facilities were great, staff was very friendly and helpful.

The course layout is fabulous. Lots of interesting holes. The course was in good shape, particularly given the amount of rain in June and July. Rough was reasonable length, but very thick.

Greens were a bit slow. I have seen them in better shape. - Likely due to the recent rain

We booked a tee time on Golf Now the day before we played. Found a hot deal and paid $27 each. that is a ridiculous price for this course

One of the more pleasurable rounds I have played in a long time. You need to add this course to your "must play" list.

Very nice variety of looks and layouts. Course is in tremendous shape. They are a little overzealous with the "Cart Path Only" rule, but maybe that's why the course is always in terrific shape. GGP knows how to maintain a property!

beautiful and challenging course, but the day was ruined by the slow play on the back nine. When we made the turn for the back nine, a different group (not the same one from the front nine) was inserted between us. The front nine group we were following replayed the front nine just to get away from the group we ended up following. This (new) threesome had a beginner golfer in it , who was both terribly slow and also a lousy golfer. It took 3 1/2 hours just to play the back!

It has been a rainy late Spring and the rough was up. The course was beautiful but we lost quite a few balls in the rough and other places. We had a great time but it took a much longer time to finish because of looking for balls and the cart path only rule on the par 5"s. The price was lowered because of the conditions but overall it was a fun day.

First off the appearance of the course and club house is top notch. The course is long but has gold ,black, blue, white and green tee boxes suitable for any handicap range. The fairways are long with trees, sand, water and rock face drop offs on either side on some holes. The greens were wide but very short so they make for a challenging short game. From the tee box to the green all perfect shape. One staff member seemed a bit rude and I think made a few unnecessary comments due to my father wearing jeans, but he put his rain pants on and met the dress code. the staff member then proceeded to drive to the first green(to make sure he had his rain pants on) and stand there while we were chipping and putting saying he was checking the pin location and didn't know why it was there, even though the GPS screen in the cart shows a fairly accurate pin location. The other staff members were very friendly. I wouldn't recommend this course to a begginer or high handicap golfer due to the difficulty level.

This course is always in fantastic condition. The staff is always very friendly and accommodating. Couldn't ask for a better experience.

As nice as this course is, the employees are equally terrible. Every person I came in contact with was either downright rude or rude and incompetent. I am amazed that with all the choices we have to play golf that courses still put up with mean employees. If you can try and keep contact with these cretins down to a minimum, the course itself is gorgeous. I played on a very rainy day but the drainage was so good the greens were fine and the fairways drained very well too.

Beautiful ,scenic course, great layout and challenging greens . Pricey but a must play. Food is good and staff were pleasant. GPS on the carts but here is a tip... If it is deemed cart paths only you may be in for a lot of walking as the carts will shut off if you venture onto the course. So you may want to hit your ball close to the cart path or avoid playing on those days. Call ahead. Have fun and enjoy a fantastic public course.

Played blue tees for the first time, usually play black. Somewhat easier because of reduced length, but not necessarily easier to drive the ball. Economics have affect the conditions slightly (like everywhere in NEO).
Play here if you enjoy a challenge, but don't expect to shoot your life low here.

The views were fantastic. I don't think you could walk it due to terrain and space between holes. I may try to play once a month. It is a real test of your golfing skills.
