The Dunes Golf & Tennis Club

Our family played this beautiful course while on vacation. Enjoyed the scenic water views and wildlife, and the course was fun yet somewhat challenging for our skill levels (family members ranged from scores of mid-80s to higher 90's). The bag handlers were nice/helpful while hurrying people along. However, the bar staff was very rude -- and slow. A simple lunch sandwich took a very long time, and I'm certain I noticed the person waiting on us roll her eyes when we asked about a lunch menu. After golf, we decided to have drinks on the patio and experienced the same rudeness at the bar. In summary, loved the course (but not the bar) and the location was great for our planned day/evening on lovely Sanibel Island, where we also hit other popular island spots.

Course is nice, and in good shape. Staff around was just OK. Paying $90 to play 5500 from the tips is not worth it

Unbelievable that the bar staff lady had the nerve to say she can get away with being a smart (bleep)because they charge automatic 18% gratuity.

She also had the audacity to laugh in my face when telling me this Started to walk off the property.

Also another patron nearly hit my wife with his approach shot on number one while we were on the green.

Never again. Don’t waste your money on this unwelcoming and poorly staffed course.

Great little course. Plays really short, made the mistake of playing up not knowing the course. After the first 2 holes realized should have played tips. Course was in great shape. Just a suggestion, bring extra balls and play the left side of the course!

It's in my top 5 for sure, awesome course, beautiful views, gators, tough holes and nice staff definitely an amazing place

Great course, little pricey. Difficult but scenic. Bar staff not very friendly unless you’re a member. Pro shop, top notch from desk to merchandise

Played in the afternoon. Bag handler was abrupt and curt. Pro shop Personel was a little better. Course was short needed some TLC. Pace was slow on front 9. Better when a couple groups dropped out.

Finished round and went to use restaurant. And bag shop again was very rude. Told us everything just closed. Even thou we could see people eating inside.

Really enjoyed my round here yesterday. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The course was in great shape overall. A few areas of “ground under repair” in the fairways and on a couple greens. This course is short but has many challenges. This place is always a must play when near Sanibel.

You have to have the shots to play here shot management is very important. We saw a gator too!

Water on every hole makes it challenging. Greens in good shape not too fast day we played. 5600 yds from the tips was reason value for dollar was low.

We enjoyed our afternoon round, moving along at a good clip, we were off in 3:15. Some greens were under repair with sand as were some fairways. I would give the course a sold B. It is a short track as advertised with water everywhere.
