Royal St. Cloud Golf Links - Red/White Course

This course is fantastic. With three distinct layouts to choose from, it plays beautifully. The only issue I experienced during my round was overbooking and slow pace of play. Didn’t tee off until 40 minutes after my tee time because of how many groups were backed up on the teebox. Definitely recommend playing, but go the earlier you can

Always a fun course to play when we come down this time of year. Staff is friendly and course is nicely maintained. Pretty wide open links layout so it’s very playable. Pace of play was a bit slow when we were making the turn so we switched to the red course. Made it more enjoyable…that’s the benefit to having 27 holes. Grill is always a good option for food and drinks.

The course has a great layout, plenty of challenges, and solid condition. Overall great value

A beautiful course in great shape. Very slow pace!!!! Plan 5 hours during winter. The greens were crazy fast and very hard. Unless you play on the PGA tour, you won't be stopping the ball on approach shots. Greens roll true, but much, much too fast and this slows the pace.

Played in afternoon; course was packed. Confusion when checking in at pro shop; they didn’t have my name on tee sheet, but had my online confirmation number. Technical issues with Golf Now app?? Staff graciously assigned me same tee time but as a twosome behind a foursome. Our 3rd golfer didn’t show. Tees, fairways and greens in great shape. Links style course to the eye. The 4-some ahead kindly asked if we wanted to play through, but there were several 4-somes ahead, so we happily stayed put, playing along at an ok pace. Made the turn and suddenly there were a 3-some and 4-some thrown in front of the foursome we were following. Had to wait 10-15 minutes to tee off on 10, then play slowed to a stop! Very disappointing and disruptive to stand around waiting to play a shot. No rangers out to address the issue. Hope to play the course again, but hope the starters and staff can figure out the correct logistics for moving players from one 9 to the 2nd 9, since there are 3 nine hole courses.

Horrible pace of play, 7 minute tee times has got to go, no marshal seen at any time. Worst of all was the shape of the greens. Perhaps a class on how not to drag one’s feet or how to fix ball marks? This place is WAY to crowded in the winter, will wait until the temp climbs above 90 before returning

Very crowded, so play but the course is always fun.

Gorgeous course, really is like playing in Europe. Immaculate conditions and really nice staff. My only knock for the four star, while it didnt happen to my group and we played fast, the 8 minute back to back and ability to let 6-8 somes on (which we did see) really does give a big minus to the experience. If this were a real “semi-private” feel, they should up the prices and allow for less course coverage. Too nice of a course to shotgun off the different 9s.

I will try this course again in the spring or next fall. when it might not be as crowded because it is a gem.

But the pace of play is not for me. We went off at 1 :10 and quit around 6 after playing 16 holes.

They send groups out very 8 minutes and it puts too many golfers on the course. On every hole we were waiting for the foursome ahead of us to tee off. And on every second shot we were waiting for them to clear the green. They were doing the same. For me, it detracts greatly from how I experience a golf course.

Great layout and in terrific shape. Very reasonable green fees. And the staff very friendly and helpful.

5 and a half hours to play… teed off on time at 10:30 but 5 hour and 30 minutes to play is ridiculous

I played the Red Side and White Side. (There are 27 holes). It was a little crowded, but that is expected. Almost couldn’t find a spot on the range, possibly because there was a promo session?…. Idk. Also they were hosting First Tee on this day so the p green was a little crowded in the afternoon, but kudos. Bar was cool. They have 10 oz. beer mugs. Very cool. Plenty of taps.

The course is a bit of a hike from Orlando and Disney vacation areas, but absolutely worth it. One of the best vales for the money in Central FL. Excellent conditions and layout. I honestly can't believe they aren't charging 50% or more!

Other than what the pros play, you cannot find a better golf course. The fairways were exceptionally good and. the tees and greens were the best that I have recently played. The weather was beautiful which made it a perfect golfing day
