Royal St. Cloud Golf Links - Red/White Course
About
Royal St. Cloud Golf Links is well known for being some of the best links-style golf in Orlando. It is home to three unique nines that all closely follow the traditions of classic Scottish links golf. A round of golf at Royal St. Cloud will make you feel as though you’ve been to the British Isles and back. The Red/White golf course has been improved to make it more player-friendly overall, but the classic links challenges are still there. The course features sod and wood-faced bunkers and there are very few trees on the course. Like on any links course, be prepared to use every club in your bag. Royal St. Cloud Golf Links is also home to a lighted driving range and short game area with practice bunkers for golfers to work on their short game.

A five star gem
Other than what the pros play, you cannot find a better golf course. The fairways were exceptionally good and. the tees and greens were the best that I have recently played. The weather was beautiful which made it a perfect golfing day
Royal St Cloud Golf Course
We have played this course many times over the years and in my opinion it is the best it’s ever been. Lots of work done on the course including many waste areas/bunkers which give the course better definition. We played the White/Blue with 2 American Guys (Chuck & Jimmy) who were great company making it a very enjoyable round.
Royal St Cloud Debut
First time playing Royal St Cloud. I was impressed with the course, staff and overall condition of the course.
Playing a course a first time is always more challenging.
But I would like to go back and play it again soon so I can avoid a couple of the mistakes I made not knowing where I was going a couple of times.:
Love all 3 nines
I love playing all 3 nine's here at this course. I would love to just play 27 or 36 holes command it's always so busy, and pretty far away from where I am. Truly, truly has the feeling of playing in Europe. The way they have it conditioned, just makes you feel like you are actually there. And the wind helps with that feeling.
Nice course, good value
Course conditions were good for this time of year. Greens rolled true but were a little slower than other times I've played there. Will definitely play again.
OUTSTANDING value
I play frequently in the Orlando area. I'm a scratch golfer and picky. There is no better value for the money in central Florida! Fast smooth greens, good fairways, and no slow play.
Place is a gem!
pace of play
Group ahead of was slow. They had to be at least 3-4 holes behind. Luckily we got through on second nine. It was backed up behind us.
This course gets better every year.
Always a good experience when we play Royal St. Cloud Golf Course.
Nice course but staff is bad
No water on course. Told they forgot to put it out. Snack bar closed. Told employee didn’t show. Took three call to restaurant for someone to answer. Then 20 minutes to get food at turn. Had to let a group through while we waited. Called food in on eighth fairway. All employees in pro shop on their cell phones. No bar tender for 20 minutes. Cart girl came around and she seemed to care about service . This place has a serious management problem.
In great shape
Greens were smooth and fast and the rest of the course was in nice condition.
Great experience
This course is a unique experience near Orlando area
Only complaint is that the course is always busy for good reason I guess
Course let's too many out
Place was a zoo. Had to wait for a tee time and it was super super slow
I asked him the staff was it regularly like this. They said yes.
Nice greens though and you could practise putting for 10 minutes and the next tee would still have people on it.
Fun track
So the course is great. Fast greens and they care for it and it shows. The golf carts are super fast, but not the cleanest in Florida. But if you like golf and not pay a large amount for fun, this is your place. The ranger came out and made the group ahead of us speed up. So that was a first for me.
A hidden jewel in central Florida
It is hard these days to find a excellent course in reasonable price in Florida, and this course is. I particularly like the green which is well maintained, smooth but challenging. You need to read the grain carefully to get the speed right.
Need better Rangers
The course is the gem of Central Florida . . . there is no doubt about it, but as someone who probably plays the course 6-8 times per month, they simply need to do a better job with keeping up the pace of play and making sure that every group is a 4-some.
Too many times they allow 5 and 6-somes seemingly because they don't want to say no, someone knows the GM or the owner or there is no marshal making sure after they leave hole 1 that this doesn't happen.
Rangers should be be driving around (especially this time of the year) and making sure groups are playing from the correct tees, (had a group of 30+ handicappers playing from the black tees yesterday), keeping up with the groups in front of them, etc.
