Indian River Preserve Golf Club

Pace was a little slow today and that’s coming from someone who shoots 100+. There was a ball hawk parked in a sharp dogleg hunting balls. We let a couple single players that were oblivious way better than us play through only for them to get hung up by a very slow foursome. Before we finished we had at least three groups drive through to the clubhouse because of the time.

Played alone for the first time today. The first year on my Mother’s birthday that she hasn’t been here on earth with us. It was nice to be alone on the course with my thoughts on this day.

Actually enjoyed playing alone played really quickly with no one in front of me to wait on and no one to wait for playing with me. Had a great time!

The front nine was ruined for my son and I because of a slow playing group of three or four short hitters in front of us. We can occasionally hit our drivers 280-300 so we were waiting for them to hit twice at least. I even stopped hitting driver and started hitting three wood. Problem was the group behind us started hitting into us while we were waiting for the group in front of us to clear out of the way. So, when they were on nine we skipped to ten and had no one in front of us and no one behind us. The back nine was great as we didn’t see anyone until we caught the group in front of us on 16 when they forgot a wedge on the green and we met them halfway to return it. So, we had a great time even though we didn’t play great golf.
