Always a Great Day at Indian River

From Laurie in the Pro Shop to Fritz at the cart barn, we always enjoy their courtesy and assistance. The ONLY negative (and not a reflection on the club) but we had a foul-mouther jerk from Pittsburg who invited himself to join us. That made an otherwise pleasant day a complete disaster. That fool needs to go back to Pittsburg and stay there.

Difficult course could be in better shape

Lots of rough spots on the fairways and around greens

A lot of water on this course and a lot of out of bounds

I would say this is not a course for beginners, which I am not

Generally, I shoot in the low to mid 80s - Started out with a quadruple bogey

I only played it if I can get a deal around $30 or less

Pay the extra $ and head to Duran Or Viera East

Needs work

Played on a cold day in January, so course was empty. Very friendly staff. Tee boxes a little beat up but no big deal. Fairways disappointing with bare spots and inconsistent grass coverage. Rough was manageable, and bunkers recently groomed with good sand. Greens were ok, a little slow and receptive to approach shots. Some fairways were narrow and required precision tee shots. Water hazards on quite a few holes kept things interesting. I’d rate it a below average course that has potential to be much better if turf issues are fixed

I saw one rake in one bunker onall 18 holes

Golf now, you should send people to look at your courses that you are promoting! This is pitiful.
