Stoneybrook East Golf Course
About
Located in Central Florida, Stoneybrook East Golf Course is a championship course that has all the signatures of classic Florida golf courses. Although traditional in design there are some modern elements that lend to the overall challenge of the course. The large fairways are naturally tree-lined and the generous greens are multi-tiered and undulating. The green are also immaculately kept. Preserved wetlands and waterways create hazards that come into play on a few holes. There is also abundant wildlife on the course. Stoneybrook East Golf Course features three sets of tees.

Golfer Reviews
Pretty Good considering the rain
Course was pretty good with the exception of a couple of greens which look like they've got Nematode issues
Enjoyable course
I grabbed an early tee time as a single and got paired with a group of 3 guys that were great to play with. The clubhouse was very friendly from the moment I walked in. They knew the course well and gave some good tips on the holes where there were hidden hazards. The course has a good layout and makes you consider your club selection at times. You can get into trouble if you don’t hit it straight off the tee on a few holes. The tee boxes were mostly flat, but were pretty patchy. The fairways were all in good condition and the greens were pretty slow in the morning because it was pretty wet. They got a bit faster as the morning sun dried things out a bit. The clubhouse said they were a 9, but they were way slower. Most of the greens were in good shape, but a few had some bad spots that looked like a fungus eating it away. Pace of play was a little slow due to the group ahead of us, but we still finished in about 4:15. The cart girl was late getting started, but made it around to us a couple times. I enjoyed the course overall and will play again. I am a 12 handicap and shot an 82 from the white tees.
Fun but it’s starting to slide.
Been playing here since December. Great value for the money and the course is challenging depending on the tees you choose. Unfortunately the greens and fairways have gotten pretty bad over the summer; was great in the winter and spring. Hope they get it back under control. Happy to see a cart girl on the course yesterday though. That was a plus.
Great value. Dependable condition
Course is well conditioned and greens are smooth and quick. Last three holes are challenging when you’re tired from the heat.
Recommend mowing the rough as I could not get my ball out of it on one hole and took an 11. Not fun.
Love the place altogether. Play here often.
Thought it would be better
To many weeds in the fairway and on the greens. No ranger or starter. No drinking water or cart girl on the course. Simply not worth the weekend rate of $59 would only play on a hot deal. I guess the course has been practically unplayable the last couple of years and they have done a good job to get it to where it's at now but there are to many other courses in better shape for the same or even less money.
Nice course, bad business!
Nothing bad to say about the course. Decent conditions and a good value for the money this time of year. My issue was they charged a $25 “spectator fee” for my cousin to ride in the cart with me, despite me playing as a single with no one else playing in my group. Him riding in the cart with me imposed NO additional financial burden to the course, but they charged $25 extra! I could understand if it required an extra cart, but to charge a fee for someone to sit in a seat that would have otherwise been empty is ridiculous!
Stoneybrook East is a great Local Course
Greens need some attention again however overall great course...They need a cart girl
Great layout but...
Stoneybrook East had done some much to get the course conditions back to very good standards over the last couple of years. Not sure what happened the last few months but the conditions (other than the greens) have changed for the bad since the last time I played it earlier this year. Fairways, tee boxes, and rough are in need of some major attention that I am sure that staff is going to address being that it is a desirable course in a great location.
Side note: Really wish the course would join the GHIN system.
