Puntacana Resort & Club - La Cana Club - Arrecife Course

Greens a little bit slow but otherwise everything was perfect, golf, scenic views. Lovely experience. Thanks to Eddy ace caddie. Will definitely be back.

We played at 12.30 on Tuesday 29th April and played Tortuga and then Hacienda, inland 9

Great layout and condition altho’ the greens weren’t receptive at all, had to land ball short all the time.

The inland 9 we thought was fantastic and enjoyed it more than the Tortuga which has a couple of holes on the coast.

If you get a hot deal with Golf Pass it’s good value for sure but you get given a random caddie hop on your buggy which we thought was part of the experience and green fee. He was very good and lovely guy (our caddie was Bernie) but he then asked for $50 plus tip at the end which we weren’t expecting. Nobody told us about this cost and Golf Pass confirmation confirmed nothing to pay at the course.

So why this additional cost?

Great course though.

La Cana provided a great golf experience as advertised. The course provided great views of the ocean and Punta Cana. I highly recommend this for all golfers. The caddy was very knowledgeable and helped tremendously. It’s a must play if you’re looking for first class accommodations.

Fast pace, open fairways and receptive greens. Caddie was amazing and had all the right reads!

We golfed LaCana twice while on vacation in Punta Cana. The staff was friendly, the course was in great shape. Playing holes on the ocean is so much fun and the views can’t be beat. I would play this course again and again.

I enjoyed the course. The mandatory caddie a bit excessive as they really do not do anything to justify the added cost. I ubered in from another resort and was allowed to complete my trip. When I tried to leave via Uber I was told only Select would be allowed inside the gates. Now, after paying the greens fee, caddie fee plus tip and purchasing 2 caps from the pro shop I get the news that it will cost me even more to leave. Frankly, it ruined the day. Again, loved the course.

Had a great day with a friend, the course was in great condition and our caddy was great as well . Will definitely be back soon

Tee decks, fairways and greens all great condition, our caddy John was great. Just watch the Caddy foreman working the parking lot kiosk- There seems to be a pecking order and the on course caddies can get ripped off on their tips. Have never seen this happen on a course before.

Overall good experience with La Cana but had a bad experience with the patron behind me. Can't help who is playing behind you but I was almost hit on the 9th hole. Ball whizzed past me as we were getting off the 9th hole green. Maybe the caddie shouldn't have told him to hit or maybe he chose to play as we were exiting the green. The patron didn't yell four not apologized to me as he pulled up to the 10th hole and I expressed in a friendly like manner that you almost hit me, Their caddie was apologetic but the patron was dude and dismissive. Needless to he was rude. Which kind of ruined my gameplay moving forward. However, that is my fault. Nevertheless, if the pace of play was managed properly that wouldn't have occurred. If we pay for caddies, then something like that shouldn't have occurred. Also, the cart guy, was rude and failed to recognize that we were the customers. He seemed a bit arrogant with his communication. He needs better customer service training.
