Stewart Peninsula Golf Course
About
Stewart Peninsula offers a nine-hole golf course along Lake Lewisville with dual greens on every hole. On the first round, you'll play from the red tees to the red flags, and on the back you'll go yellow to yellow. After a straightforward opening hole where the only real problem is a pesky fairway bunker, nos. 2 and 3 start a trend of interesting holes. No. 2 offers completely different looks from each set of tees. The right side pin placement presents problems because of the lake, and the left flag rests close to greenside mounding that will send balls bounding afar. Misses here should find the bunkers, as the recovery is not all that difficult from the sand. Stewart Peninsula's third hole is probably the signature, and a 250-yard drive will put you in prime position to go at the multi-tiered green. Avoid missing back right, as the up-and-down is especially difficult from that side.

Terrible condition and layout
The coarse was extremely confusing beginning with the tee boxes. It seemed like there were spray painted blocks just scattered on the tee boxes with very little thought. There should be only 9 holes because you essentially just play them twice (it would be less confusing that way). You couldn’t tell which greens you were aiming at either. The staff was very friendly, but the food offered was terrible.
Neat 9 hole
This course is neat as it’s a 9 hole course and plays as an 18 hole course. Duel tee boxes, duel flags. Most greens are now separated into 2 greens.
Hot day
Great day, great conditions, love this course. Found my drive and forces you to use every club in the bag!!
nice views
great, courteous staff.
nice views. didnt realize its a 9 hole track when booking.
two greens per hole is slightly confusing
would recommend
Cheap and fun
Great scenery and well kept course. There are only 9 fairways but there are 18 greens. For the price, I think it’s well worth it. Also, the staff is very friendly and the beer is cheap. Good place for a casual round.
Great and challenging
Beautiful course on the water is definitely challenging for the average player.
Great getaway
Was a fun first round here, only issue. The elder Marshall seemed to be upset with someone so he decided to ride next to us for 3 holes while we stayed pretty much on the tee box while the group in front was on the green or walking off as we entered. Took it as he was having a bad day, glad we didn’t let it ruin our round as it was not needed with the amount of people and pace we were at. But all in all everyone was great and it was a fun course. I’ll be back.

Nice course - had a blast. Interesting layout with 6 tee box and 2 greens to make a nine hole course into 18 holes. Nicely done!!
Lots of Fun!
Played with my wife. Fun course in good shape, no sand traps; however, back tees make for a long course on par 3’s. Interesting how it’s a nine hole course but they set it up for 18 holes with 6 tee boxes and 2 greens on each hole. Pretty creative and fun to play. .
It was ok
Had never played a 9 hole course before, and it’s just not for me. Layout was a little confusing, but the biggest drag was the pace of play. Lack of a Marshall riding the course resulted in a 15-20 minute back up on most holes. Conditions and greens were average, but the lake setting was nice.
Fun, not long, but not easy.
Interesting, challenging course. 9 holes, but each hole has two separate greens. So you get in 18 by going around twice, once from the red tees to the green with the red flag, once from the yelliw tees to the green white the yellow flag. Fairways in mostly good condition. Greens in excellent shape. Yucky sand traps. Fun course. Plenty of water and other hazards to keep it challenging. Great value!
Good course! Escpecially for testing yourself
9 hole course with two tracks of play - decently maintained for the money and a great test for your iron play while also getting the opportunity to test how accurate you are with your driver. greens were well maintained
