Stewart Peninsula Golf Course
About
Stewart Peninsula offers a nine-hole golf course along Lake Lewisville with dual greens on every hole. On the first round, you'll play from the red tees to the red flags, and on the back you'll go yellow to yellow. After a straightforward opening hole where the only real problem is a pesky fairway bunker, nos. 2 and 3 start a trend of interesting holes. No. 2 offers completely different looks from each set of tees. The right side pin placement presents problems because of the lake, and the left flag rests close to greenside mounding that will send balls bounding afar. Misses here should find the bunkers, as the recovery is not all that difficult from the sand. Stewart Peninsula's third hole is probably the signature, and a 250-yard drive will put you in prime position to go at the multi-tiered green. Avoid missing back right, as the up-and-down is especially difficult from that side.

Great Course!
My wife and are getting back into golf after being away from the game for several years. We wanted to find a course that wasn’t super crowded with reasonable fees and perhaps membership opportunities. Well, we found all that in Stewart Peninsula Golf Course! The course has a great layout with well-kept greens and fairways and can’t say enough positive things about Brian Murphy and the rest of the staff, they made us feel welcomed as if we’ve been members for years!
This course is a great way to be consistent! Fun and the more is gorgeous
This is a mini Pebble Beach type of course… it’s not spread out but it will challenge you to be consistent and have fun! Yes you can lose golf balls if you really hit a bad shot, but it will teach you to be consistent and it’s a nine hole with two areas of tees. Because of Stewart Peninsula golf course… it make other golf courses look like cake walk. Great staff and it’s really a great place to play…. Oh! The view is gorgeous and it’s relaxing to play by the water. don’t let the course fool you?! It’s a fun and semi-challenging course making you learn to play smart.
Overall Rating
Course was in great shape. I like the idea of playing the same hole twice (to make 18) with different pin locations first and second round through. Course was medium difficulty, so that makes for a fun time in itself. Course pro was very friendly and allowed us to finish playing towards the end of sunlight.
Solid course. Great change of pace from typical Frisco course. Good lake views with tricky winds off the water. Two flags per green wasn’t as big of a deal as anticipated. They’re spaced well and actually play as different holes. Greens and surrounding fringe was in great shape. Provided a good challenge and rewarded wedge accuracy. Good value for the price. Will definitely play again
Great track and value
I had a group of 8 players this last weekend of varying abilities. All enjoyed the course and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Great course and excellent value for the $40 weekend green fee deal we got on GolfNow. Would strongly recommend%
Won’t go back
Course is pretty tricky. But the starter and Marshall were way too strict. This made for all 4 of us being irritated and we could not enjoy our round. Then around lunch time we were all hungry. And I had been told they have really good food from their kitchen. But it was closed……. On a Saturday! So, I’ll probably never go back there, unless it’s the only course in a 50 mile radius that has the only open tee times. And I’ll be sure to pack food this time……
SPGC
The course layout was fun. It is just a 9hole course you just play a different color of tees and flags for the 2nd 9. It was well worth the money.
Water View Golf
If you like a view when you golf… You will love this course!
Solid
I’ve played here many times over the years and this is currently the best shape I’ve seen it in. After the snow-vid from last year the greens were burnt from frost but they’re in great shape. Better shape than $65+ courses around the area.
Fun course in great shape!!
This is fun little course with a cool layout and great views of Lewisville Lake. The staff is always friendly and the course was in great condition! The greens roll true and fairways were very nice too! The price was perfect on GolfNow.com (what a value). I look forward to playing here again soon!
