Stewart Peninsula offers a nine-hole golf course along Lake Lewisville with dual greens on every hole. On the first round, you'll play from the red tees to the red flags, and on the back you'll go yellow to yellow. After a straightforward opening hole where the only real problem is a pesky fairway bunker, nos. 2 and 3 start a trend of interesting holes. No. 2 offers completely different looks from each set of tees. The right side pin placement presents problems because of the lake, and the left flag rests close to greenside mounding that will send balls bounding afar. Misses here should find the bunkers, as the recovery is not all that difficult from the sand. Stewart Peninsula's third hole is probably the signature, and a 250-yard drive will put you in prime position to go at the multi-tiered green. Avoid missing back right, as the up-and-down is especially difficult from that side.

Pretty good

Play here a lot, 9 holes with 2 holes on each green. Can’t beat the lake view and the holes are actually a lot of fun. Sometimes beginners slow the pace of play. Worth the money

This place is garbage

This place is not taken care of at all. Fairways have rocks, sand bunkers are brick dirt. Not worth $40 bucks. The staff is unorganized. Came after me on hole one trying to claim we didn’t pay when we prepaid on golf now full price. Then he starts bashing golf now to everyone around. Just a bad experience. Would not recommend.

Awful

They shouldn’t charge anyone to play this terrible course. Course Marshall’s are awful. They try to tell you to hurry it up and keep pace of play when the group in front of you is on the green and you are 100 yards out. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Great little nine hole course

Perfect course for me today nine hole you play twice playing Reds first then yellows really like it. Excellent for walking nice local atmosphere and very friendly staff course was pretty rough but it’s the dead of winter so I wasn’t expecting much. I’m gonna go back and play in the spring fall or summer as it’s right on the lake looks like it’ll be really nice then

Double time

9 holes each play twice with different tee markers. Each green is similar to a figure eight and has 2 flags. Interesting concept. A few very challenging holes and overall a very tight, narrow course. Great to play in order to work on accuracy. Course conditions were adequate after heavy rains two days prior. Back nine got a little backed up as you can imagine with people needing tees and greens at the same time. Nice little course with pretty views. I will come back.

Meh

In hindsight, should have just played 9 holes. Course condition was pretty rough. Other golfers were on top of us while waiting for players ahead of us. Signage and direction needs some updating. Sand traps were a muddy mess. More like ponds.
