Stewart Peninsula Golf Course
About
Stewart Peninsula offers a nine-hole golf course along Lake Lewisville with dual greens on every hole. On the first round, you'll play from the red tees to the red flags, and on the back you'll go yellow to yellow. After a straightforward opening hole where the only real problem is a pesky fairway bunker, nos. 2 and 3 start a trend of interesting holes. No. 2 offers completely different looks from each set of tees. The right side pin placement presents problems because of the lake, and the left flag rests close to greenside mounding that will send balls bounding afar. Misses here should find the bunkers, as the recovery is not all that difficult from the sand. Stewart Peninsula's third hole is probably the signature, and a 250-yard drive will put you in prime position to go at the multi-tiered green. Avoid missing back right, as the up-and-down is especially difficult from that side.

Fun 9 hole course off the lake
Overall course is in good shape. It's a fun course to pay right next to the lake. Peaceful and beautiful views. All the golfers and the course has a laid back friendly vibe.
Stewart Peninsula
Stewart Peninsula is our favorite place to golf (me and my 12-year old son). The course is beautiful and the breeze from the lake is nice. The staff is friendly and they make it easy to show up and get to teeing off quickly. In the many times we have golfed at SP, we have had a couple of rounds in which we had to wait significantly longer for each hole. Since there are only 9 greens, you have to cycle back through a second time and the pace of play slows down. The greens are well-kept and it's nice to have easier and more difficult holes. We will continue to play at SP and recommend it!
Great BUT....
Great course, great conditions and a great time!!
All that being said, course is gonna need to figure out how to balance their young junior golfers and their senior leagues. Pace of play is what keeps me coming back over and over but today was the 2nd time I have experienced very slow play due to Juniors and their senior league. Notice should be given to golfnow or tee times should be removed during junior and senior leagues. This is especially a problem since Stewart is a nine hole facility, theres just no where for other players to start to avoid the big groups and slow play. Other than that, course and staff are AWESOME!
Worst experience ever
I have been playing golf for 30+ years and have played on countless course throughout the country and Mexico. This is hands down, absolutely, 100% the worst experience I have had with owner & staff of a golf course. Not only is this the worst experience I have had with an owner of a golf course, but quite possibly the worst experience with any owner of any business. I will NEVER play this course again.

Nice challenge
Some tight fairway s...keep it straight or you can get in trouble. Greens were excellent.
Hi Bryant. Thank you for taking the time to review the course. We take single star feedback very serious at Stewart Peninsula Golf Course. You are welcome to comment further or reach out to our team in the golf shop. We always appreciate the feedback. Thank you for playing.
A windy challenge
The round was great even with the 15 to 25 mph winds. It added to the challege.
Sucks
This corse is 9 holes you play twice with two flags on each green to make it an 18 hole corse. The views are nice but $36 for these greens was a waste. Next, my Tee time was for 7:40am and when I arrived at 7:10am nobody was there and didn’t show up until about 7:45. He was late but rude about it like I was inconvenienting for making a tee time in the morning.

Fun course and the staff is always excellent. The course played well despite the cold weather. I on the other hand struggled but still a good day. Looking forward to my next visit.
no 18
This course should not be allowed to be listed as a 18 hole course. it is a 9 hole only!!!
Very disappointing it is not noted.

Always enjoy the course and the staff is always 1st rate.
Poor course and poor staff
Staff joking laughing on greens refused to move. Staff inside just said "ok, so". Would never play here again.
