Stewart Peninsula Golf Course
About
Stewart Peninsula offers a nine-hole golf course along Lake Lewisville with dual greens on every hole. On the first round, you'll play from the red tees to the red flags, and on the back you'll go yellow to yellow. After a straightforward opening hole where the only real problem is a pesky fairway bunker, nos. 2 and 3 start a trend of interesting holes. No. 2 offers completely different looks from each set of tees. The right side pin placement presents problems because of the lake, and the left flag rests close to greenside mounding that will send balls bounding afar. Misses here should find the bunkers, as the recovery is not all that difficult from the sand. Stewart Peninsula's third hole is probably the signature, and a 250-yard drive will put you in prime position to go at the multi-tiered green. Avoid missing back right, as the up-and-down is especially difficult from that side.

Stewart PENNENSULA Golf Course
This was a fun course to play. Laid back atmosphere, great shape with some challenging golf holes. I want to play it again.
Just a place to play
Course was pretty easy and not a fan of the two greens, but if your looking for a place to play with minimal amenities and a low price, give it a try.
Go Elswehere to Play
The course layout is awful and the fact that they charge for 18 holes when this is in essence a 9 hole course is ridiculous.
Not my facorite
So we had a good time playing but it is a 9 hole with 2 different pin placements. It's only a 9 hold course.
Great time
Great 9 hole...get to go at the holes again.
9 hole Course, tight, short
You had a mix bag of players, walking, riding. They say it's a 18 hole course but playing 9 twice. With people walking and riding, things get bunched up and slow real quick. Course is very tight
Fun course.
This course can be a little confusing. First time red tees and 2nd time gold tees. I like the course and will go back. Great value to play it. It is out of the way, though.
Nice Course
It's a nice 9 hole course that is set up for 18 holes. Greens were really nice / fast. However, it was a Friday afternoon, very slow play

Good course. Great pace of play. Enjoyable for average golfer
Poor Golf Disgusting Food
I'll keep it short
ONLY 9-holes course
Very poor customer service. Pro at the counter rushed me and it wasn't busy. Very rude "told me he wasn't morning person"
Water in outside jug was yellow and smelled.
Stayed to try burritos. WOW they were the worst freeze marks on beef and it smelled and tasted horrible.
Waste of money and time too many golf courses open!
Good Little Course
First time playing here. On the water of Lewisville Lake. Flooded part of the course (I know the course can't control that). Staff kept our tee time despite being 15 minutes late. Nice people. Nice greens. I would return
always fun to play here
Interesting rounds here with the duo-greens. I like having a couple extra pars 3's also.

I am a 6 handicap. And frequent DFW courses. I should have known that paying 10.00 would have gotten me this. I know it's seasonal, but half of the tee boxes and fairways were under water, the greens were Rolling a solid 4 on the stempmeter. Even for what I payed, I was very disappointed. Pay up the extra money and play a better course than S.P.
This is not an 18 hole course!!!
This is a 9 hole course with confusing tee
boxes and two different color pins on each hole. To play 18, you literally play each hole twice.
Alot of the course was flooded it appeared...also, since everyone is playing the same holes, when we got to hole 1 (aka hole 10) there were 4 groups waiting to play the "1" hole....since it was actually a hole we already played, we left after just 9 holes...would not recommend.
You cannot get a cooler without buying beer, no beer cart - older, run down appearing club house.
Course is flooded, but not according to management!
If you didn't know, this course is nestled up to Lewisville Lake. Because of this, when the lake is flooded (as it is now) the course is affected by it. 3 of the 9 holes (you play each 9 twice to get 18) are greatly affected as you can see in the pictures I've posted.
There are tee boxes that have standing water. There are tee boxes you cannot even get to. There are cart paths that are completely flooded over.
Oh, and if you have a reservation, they won't cancel it with these conditions.
Enjoyable Saturday afternoon
Very wet conditions required the use of cart path only, unless on foot. This challenge could not be helped, but it did cause some delays. Coach was able to maintain an even flow of traffic, given the circumstance, creating the best possible experience. Due to an attentive staff, a potential nightmare was turned to a pleasurable round. Thanks for an enjoyable Saturday afternoon.
Fun Course
Played in March after lots of rain, so course not in best condition. However, a fun course to play.
Stewart Peninsula Course
We were greeted very nicely at the pro shop, when given our cart key. I do think it is overpriced simply because it lies on the water. It is advertised as an 18 hole course when it is really only 9 holes with two different pin locations. Greens are in decent condition but I've played better for cheaper.
Nice view
Course was in okay shape for feb! First one out so play was fast. Nice view of the lake. Good for a quick little round. Short course with some decision making shots.
Great views
Great view of the lake and hills. A nice challenging par 9 course.
