Valley Course
While the course is enjoyable to play the pace of play was slow, more than 4 hours, with almost all the delay on the back 9. It needs better marshaling ( we saw no one during afternoon play).
Slow and Unorganized
I only played 7 holes and stopped because there was no marshal or order on the course. Apparently there was more than one special event that packed the course with slow and inexperienced players thereby making it agonizing for the rest of us. Foursomes would suddenly just show up in front of me and spend 10 minutes looking for balls. Terrible experience. Complained when I left but they just explained the situation and offered no accommodation. Not very cool.
Cart Battery dead twice
Cart Battery dead twice, please check it before let player ride, others are prefect
Disappointed
I was a single player and was told I would have someone else join me. I waited until several minutes past my tee time, after being passed by several groups, then I decided to play alone. There was no starter which would have helped the situation.....my guess is that no one wanted to play with a female. The pace of play was slow, it was a Friday so I expected better. The group behind me was impatient and even tried to skip a hole only to find there were several groups in the backup. I gave up after 13 holes.....disappointed!!!
One more time
7:15 start time, Valley. Greens had been recently aeriated. Challenging layout, fun. Looking forward to my next visit.
Well maintained course, but slow play for price
Played Sunday early afternoon and the play was extremely slow because there is no Ranger. I can understand not having one on the weekdays but the weekends are the busiest. The course is well-maintained from tee to green. Price should be lower if they’re going to ignore weekend play.
Always a lot of fun playing here
I have played valley a few times, and it’s always been enjoyable. Everyone was friendly and made our golf round very enjoyable. We had some slower players two groups ahead so ended up waiting on a few holes, but overall can’t complain. Only thing I wish could have been done better was the aerification notice. Usually if the greens are punched it will show up on the golf now app with a red triangle, but didn’t see that this time.
great course layout and condition
course is in great shape, hardly any bad spot or hard pan area in the fairway, They really maintain this course. a bit windy in the afternoon. excellent staff .
Valley Course Need Rough Cut
Course was in excellent shape except rough was at least one to 2 feet high. Rough needs to be cut so average golfer can play without loosing multiple balls when fairways are missed by as little as 2 feet. Not having a spotter and/or caddie means that most golfers will loose an average of four balls per round or more. Very unfair.
Hit it straight
The Valley course plays like a links course. If you hit the ball right or left, expect to either lose your ball or spend time searching for your ball. When the group in front of your are searching, it slows down the pace of play. Searching for balls seems to be factored into the 4:30 time it takes to play 18. I don’t mind rough but this is beyond necessary for regular golfers.
Fantastic greens
The course condition was excellent, especially the greens. We will definitely be back soon!
Strange round
Course is great but on the particular day we played there was no starter or marshals and people were crowding onto the first tee like it was the Oklahoma land rush and then a single jumped in front of us on the 8th tee. Not sure where he came from so it was a 5 hr + round. It usually is not like that but if that persists we will think twice about booking a tee time at Coyote Valley.
TWO LOVELY COURSES
I recently played both the Tournament and Valley courses at Coyote Creek ...both rounds were very enjoyable...the condition of both courses is excellent and well worth playing....I do prefer the tournament course..variation of holes seems to be greater on the tournament than the valley course...all in all a lot of fun...
good condition
Greens very good
Fairways cut well
Sand traps well racked and plenty of sand
