Cinnabar Hills Golf Club - Lake/Canyon

Awesome course to put in your places to play category. Layout, serenity, amenities, and constant care of this gem makes you keep coming back, even if you drove two hours to get there... only issue, which disrupted the mindset from the first green was no notification of the greens just getting punched and sanded when we booked the reservations. The price was the regular rate so we assumed all systems go, NOT! The group we played with made the round not as disappointing... will definitely keep coming back but PLEASE, inform the public and not assume we're all members.

The course was being aero field and we did not know

Green aeration happened without notification to players. Poor customer service.

Had I known they aerated the day before I wouldn’t have driven over an hour to play. Told them in pro shop that they should have posted information about aeration online

Fun and challenging course ,beautiful scenery ,pace of play is good and must play when in town.

Hidden gem with great course condition , staff are friendly, pace of play is good and challenging /fun course to play.

The course is perfect right now! The best course in the South Bay!

Always a challenge but really enjoyable

Canyon section of 9 holes is the best!!

I have been wanting to play this course for years but could never muster up the courage to do it. I always believed it was way above my skill level.

Last week I decided to pull the trigger and get a T time for today.

Showed up this morning at 0815 for a 9:30 t time. Guys at pro shop counter very polite. Grabbed cart and hit some balls to loosen up. Then the putting green. The practice green was difficult to figure out but I was able to make some decent puts.then it was time to go. The starter was very polite and gave me some info to help me out. He put me with 3 other guys. They have golfed this course many times. We played the Mountain / Canyon. My first shot at Mountain #1 cleared the barranca by about 75 yards from the silver T’.

I found this course to be in excellent condition. The T boxes were level with plenty of grass. The fairways were incredible,. Lush green grass very easy to hit off of even with the elevation changes. The bunkers had soft fully sand. I managed to find a couple but was able to get out.

The greens were tough for me but managed a few par puts and a birdie on # 9..

The Canyon course was more difficult. The last 4-5,holes are just brutal, but I managed.

I’m a 18 handicap, and scored a 95:. So breaking 100 was awesome for me/..

The course was very wet from the recent rains but in better shape than expected. The greens were a bit slow but true to form. I Love This Course, it’s Really Hard but if you play well here you can play well anywhere.

Cinnabar is a challenging course with equally tough undulating greens. Due to this degree of difficulty, don’t expect to finish if you have a late starting time - especially if cart path only restrictions are in effect. They were no cart restrictions the day we played, yet we were unable to finish due to painfully slow pace of play. Disappointing.
