Cabo San Lucas Country Club

Overall I had a good time on this course. The fairways play well, but don’t expect vibrant green everywhere…it’s summer in the desert.

Hole 17 green was pretty beat up with it being tough to distinguish fairway from fringe…it was like putting on fairway grass.

Overall it felt like a Municipal type course, with distant views of the sea of Cortez, but still a fun playable course.

Bring lots of water and electrolytes if playing in July through September. No cart servers.

My tee time was 12:30, a single , and I did not see another group til the end 4 holes.

If other tee times are astronomical , like Solmar, this is a good alternative of u just want to golf a basic course in Cabo.

The golf course was beautiful and well manicured. However the putting greens were over grown. The greens that were cut were covered in clippings. Putting was ridiculous, impossible and frustrating. The staff was kind and friendly. We made the best of our round and enjoyed the course.

Read that the course was in terrible condition and the greens were full of weeds, but I found none of this to be true. Although the greens were slow, They rolled true to the grain and fairways were in very good condition. Someone also said hard to find the next hole, but I thought the signage was very good. This course does not have comfort stations like many in Cabo courses but you do return to the clubhouse between nines, if you need some food or additional refreshments?

We rented clubs which were good BUT they did not have a towel (we had to buy one) to wipe down the clubs and no club brush to scrape out the dirt/grass from the grooves. With a bunch of courses in and around Cabo they should step their game up if they want to have the title of “Country Club”

Seeing the name and green fees I expected a very nice course. Maybe it was at one time but now it’s pretty much like a run down muni. The greens were really bad. Ignoring the recent aeration because that is just a necessary evil. Aside from that there were way too many weeds in the greens and several were pretty shaggy.

The greens had been punched and sanded, which I was aware of. There’s nothing outstanding but all is acceptable.

We had a great round at Cabo Country Club. Course where in a good condition. A bit dry, need some water to get a green colour. We used 3 h 50 min. We missed som one course service for food and especially drinks.

Greens are not in good condition especially number 13. They look more like weeds and crab grass than a green. Layout very difficult to follow. Not well groomed, or taken care of. For the value no thank you. Good location for Cabo San Lucas, but not well run. I will not return.

We had a great time. The course was fairly challenging. Would definitely be a long day to walk because some holes were quite a distance from each other. (We usually walk.) The only issue was that I was more than double charged for golf club rental and purchase of golf balls.

Fairways are very good. Greens and tee boxes are not. No GPS on carts. Spend the extra money and play other local courses.

Course was in great shape as compared with last year at this time

Pace of play was perfect and the staff were very friendly and helpful

Value for money was good especially when using Golf now and Golf Pass benefits

We were going to golf somewhere else and our plans changed. So we went here. We aren't the best golfers and Cabo golf is super expensive. This was enough bang for our bucks. We had a nice day. No cart person to serve drinks and snacks and no rangers anywhere but we had water bottles on the cart. They don't have USB ports to charge or GPS either. It was fine and if we golf a lot next time we will come back.

Good course, fun layout, good driving range balls included. Qi35 stiff rentals in great shape but booked these in advance via direct email. Only two complaints: not much shade on course requested extra water on hole 14 did not arrive, got very hot on the back 9. Greens were way slower than expected, putting especially. Long irons would plug and spin back if you hit the green.

I’m only a 10.1 handicap. Nothing special. I’m in my 60’s and love to play. I have never played a course where greens were this inconsistent. Some furry, some play like glass, others are hard as a rock and some the ball plugs deep. The greens added at least 8 strokes to my game. I shot an 82 so this tells anyone the course is actually easy. Wide open fairways. I play 6500 yards normally so the blending of black and silver give you the player rating. Would I recommend? No, not at $275 USD. No breakfast was provided but was supposed to be included. Disappointed
