Cabo San Lucas Country Club

Great course! Lots of sand, so practice hitting shots out of fairway bunker. Pack your glove, buy enough balls for 9 holes and you can buy more at the turn if you need them. I rented clubs and they we’re useable. Fairway - irons were 7 years old, but functional. Had a blast!

Staff were extremely friendly and drinks priced much more reasonably than in other courses. Having said that, green fee is priced at comparable rates as Palmilla, Cabo Real and more expensive than CCSJ. The truth is that the course was into in great shape, especially the greens. More to our dismay, several holes had been modified and the changes were not uploaded to GPS available in range finders. Carts had no laser and there were no course maps on the scorecard or around the course. At certain points, players are left to guess where the green is and the distance to hazards and bunkers.

Need to considerably up their game if they want to compete with other public courses in the area.

We were unable to get a tee time by calling the course. They told us they were totally booked; so we used our Golf Now app and were able to choose from several tee times. When we arrived, they told us we had an 18 hole tee time, when we thought we had signed up for 9 holes. Included in our reservation was water, beer and option for food. After our round we went to the bar to have a beer and were told it was only included in morning tee times. We showed them our confirmation email and they still refused to honor it.

The course has potential but was very “rough.” The greens were splotchy and not in good shape. There was virtually no one playing while we were there, after having been told the tee times were filled.

Overall we were very disappointed in our experience at this club and will not play it again.

Luckily I used 2 of my free discount coupons to have myself & my son-in-law play, therefore it was free...otherwise I would have been SO disappointed in the cost. Would have been $225/person.

I think this would be worth $75-$100/person at the most.

No GPS...signage on the course was not good at all for a 1st time player.

Lots of the greens had many brown spots/areas..Covid was not the cause of this.

Paid $100 (USD) to have our significant others ride along...They didn’t play at all.

I’m glad I played it, but won’t play it in the future.

The staff were EXCELLENT: Pleasant, kind, generous, helpful, ect...

The only thing I’m disappointed with is the value - what we got for what we paid for.

This is the best value I could find. Course looks easy and is forgiving, but there are some characteristics that add difficulty. Played from the blues and a few of the holes are long.

Would not allow us to tee off before our tee time, even though no one else was there to play.

Prior to booking my tee times on Golf Now I read some of the recent reviews, which weren’t very favorable. I decided to play at the course anyway and was very pleased with conditions. The course was in very good shape. There were a couple of minor dry areas on a few greens, that was it. Not sure what the other reviews were referring to. I would recommend this course. The

Staff was super friendly! Course in good shape, expect to pay vacation high price, look for hot deal which is still expensive. Taxis to course are 10-20 usd depending on where your are.

Course was in great shape. They did a nice job of re-doing the back nine a few years back making it a little wider, after a hurricane wiped out some of it. The Putting green had lots of dead grass, but course greens were good. It was a very nice day, with a little wind.

This was the 2nd course I played during the week. I should have read the reviews before buying this. Bought the “Hot Deal” at 10 am for just under a $100.00. As someone else commented, this would have been a 30-40 municipal course in the states. Some of the tee boxes were not cut and one fairway was not cut. The perimeter of the fairway was, but the fairway was as thick as the rough.

Very few amenities, rough is too tall. Greens were average. Expected better for the cost.

The ruff was very difficult. When the ball went in, it dropped to the bottom and was very near impossible to find, The greens were recovering from being plugged. That information was provided prior to booking. Thank you.

I played this course many times and I like it but they really need to lower their prices with the golf course in this mediocre shape. I paid $100 after taxes and fees and that is way too much money to play the course in its current condition. They either need to lower their prices or get the course back to condition it usually is soon
