The Golf Club at Dove Mountain - Tortolita/Wild Burro

I would highly recommend this course. Challenging, but fair layout for most levels. The greens were great for this time of year. The scenery is great... !

Did not enjoy the "Cart Path" only on several holes...This is a Mtn. Side Golf course and it can be very cumbersome on a hot day to park on long side and hit from opposite sides of course...and walking back and forth for correct club selection, etc....makes the course a hard play for not Advanced level golfers

First class course all the way. While other local courses are having a difficult time keeping course conditions playable, this place is in immaculate shape!

The placement of bunkers made the game challenging.

This is a difficult course. But the layout is excellent, the views are spectacular and the condition is superb.

If you're an average player, bring extra balls!

The course played as expected... very challenging. The greens are absolutely incredible. Well maintained and plenty of break. Make sure you read your putts from all angles. I would also encourage to select an appropriate tee box. Leave your ego behind, select the appropriate tee box, and enjoy the round playing from strategic drive locations. I played every club in my bag and had to many strategic shots.

My friend Pat and I played at 1:20 on a Saturday, the course was in great condition and we played 18 in 4 hours 10 min. We waited on a few holes but for the most part the pace of play was great. Bring your A game, the course is challenging but fun! We enjoyed the views and hit long and straight most of the time! I highly suggest playing this course!

I admit to being biased when it comes to this course, I love the place. Challenging, but not a killer. Fairly open for a desert course and a nice variety of holes. Depending on what tees you hit from, you can have some long approach short. Lots of undulations to the greens, which make them fun and challenging. Only criticism was that the course was very firm. The greens were firm and the fairways were a tad on the hard side. This is my favorite place to play in Tucson.

Breathtaking course. GPS on carts. Undulating fairways/greens (with elevation + windy day)) provide a unique challenge. Paired with a solid playe (Marshall)r on my round and ran into a familiar face (Blair) from another course. A solo (Mike) joined us on the back nine. Played well because of the challenge and the better golfers around me ( = focused). Best time I've ever had golfing.

Challenging but fair golf course. If you drive the ball fairly straight, you can score well. Fairways are plush and the ball sits up. Greens were a bit slow and all putts roll towards the valley. One warning - stay out of the desert. Cactus can cause some really painful stings. Just a treat to play this course.

We got there 15 minutes early and where told we couldn't warm up that we had to tee off right away because there where some members waiting to go. This course is difficult, and not in very good,shape.maybe that's why the place,was empty and they no longer play PGA tour event here.

Great course with lots of bunkering and desert. It was a blast trying to play without looking too foolish. Sort of slow first nine then opened up. Course supplied range balls and cold water. Had a great time.

Disappointed that such a beautiful course which gives bottles of water does NOT recycle those bottles. Probably adding thousands/year to the local landfill.

This facility is like “Eye Candy”...beauty everywhere. Conditions were great. The course is fair but challenging. It is a worthwhile venture. The Sonoran Desert does have critters that should be avoided. So, if you hit into the desert, just forget about that ball and take a safe drop, out of harms way.

excellent course,this course makes you think . pay close attention to cart screen and landing areas. One of the most picture perfect courses the greater tucson area has to offer. came across a gila monster on the back nine on cart path taking a drink from water on path, pretty cool.

This course with the exception of bunkers is top notch. The fairways are the best I have ever played. The only complaint we had was the price of beverages from the beverage cart.

The course was in excellent condition, greens rolled true and fast. Wide fairways and a lot of well placed bunkers. The staff was sparse. A tournament was sent out before us. I was disappointed that they moved one of our 2 tee times out, separating my group. They did not notify me in advance or give reason.

Beautiful course, 90% great staff. Play was very slow due to what we were told was one foursome- unfortunately nothing was done about their pace.
