Gillette Ridge

This course is super well taken care of, tons of real estate. Definitely on the harder side but a welcoming challenge. Absolutely playing here more often.

It seems as if this course is going downhill compared to a few years back. The greens are not very well cared for and lots of golfers out there not taking care of their divots and ball marks from landing on the green. The course definitely needs attention. Pace of play was extremely slow as well. We were backed up 3 groups waiting to tee off same hole.

Challenging layout. Hadn’t played the course in 3 years and forgot how challenging it was. You need to know your yardages, both for your clubs and to hazards and ob. Put your ego aside and hit your shots

This golf course is subpar at best, staff is bunch of amateurs that lack business acumen and integrity. Strongly encourage anyone looking at this course to spend your hard earned money at Wintonbury. Top tier course right down the street compared to this subpar excuse of a golf course. Wintonbury outshines when it comes to price, course, tee boxes, fairways, greens and the carts even have GPS at Wintonbury while Gillette stumbles to keep up. I’m confident golfers of any skill level will appreciate Wintonbury over this course any day of the week. Wintonbury staff is professional and competent while Gillette staff is still figuring out the meaning of customer service and professionalism. Their team provided the lowest level experience I have ever come across, which ultimately aligns with their inexperienced staff lack of professionalism, inability to comprehend and communicate effectively. Your time and money are best served playing round anywhere else; Wintonbury is the only course in Bloomfield area that anyone should consider making a trip to play round.

Aerated greens 2 weeks ago, but they were very consistent. Love the layout, challenging from the blues. Course is in great shape.

Enjoyed the course immensely! However, it was very challenging. I am an advanced beginner/low intermediate. I felt like if you made any mistakes, this course made you pay. That said, you need courses like this to know where you stand! I would golf here again, once I get better!

The course has multiple tee boxes for every player to enjoy its challenging layout.

The greens had recently been aerated, so a few putts bobbled to the cup.

All in all a course we will go back to and we recommend playing the course.

There are a few holes that one needs to hit over water on both the front and back nine, very challenging for older women that are not long hitters. Course for all the rain we have had this summer is in good shape. Staff in pro shop and cart area are friendly and helpful. Restaurant fare is very good.
