The Wildhorse Golf Club is the first of three planned courses for the Robson Ranch Community outside of Denton. Designed by architect Gary Stephenson, the course opened the second nine in October 2002.

The signature hole is on the front, a 566-yard par 5 that requires a monster drive followed by two demanding approach shots.

Getting there : From Dallas take I-35 to Denton and look for the 35 W split. This takes you back towards the south to Fort Worth for 6 miles, where you’ll take the Robson Ranch exit. Drive 1.5 miles west and look for the course.

Excellent course and favorable layout. Some tight shots with water along with open fairways to swing away with the big stick. I highly recommend this course if it’s your first time playing it. One of the nicest public courses in DFW. Greens were punched a few weeks ago, they’re slow but in 2 weeks I expect them to be fully healed

Can't wait to move here

I am 50 something and hope to move to Robson one day soon. Course was in great shape. Greens were perfect on all 27 I played. A few small burned areas in fairways but barely noticeable. The north course has grown in nicely. Starter and marshal were both informative and firm. foursome played in 3:50 on a Saturday noon-ish - can't beat that. This course is almost always in great condition - worth the drive from anywhere in the Metroplex.
