The Wildhorse Golf Club is the first of three planned courses for the Robson Ranch Community outside of Denton. Designed by architect Gary Stephenson, the course opened the second nine in October 2002.

The signature hole is on the front, a 566-yard par 5 that requires a monster drive followed by two demanding approach shots.

Getting there : From Dallas take I-35 to Denton and look for the 35 W split. This takes you back towards the south to Fort Worth for 6 miles, where you’ll take the Robson Ranch exit. Drive 1.5 miles west and look for the course.

Excellent course and layout. It was hot, but there was plenty of water throughout the course. The staff was amazing and explained where I needed to go, the facilities layout, etc. I will 100% play this course again. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars on the course condition was due to the greens being sanded. Putts still rolled well, so when the planned maintenance is complete on the greens, no doubt they will be top notch.

Drove 50 minutes to play this course for the first time and it didn’t disappoint. The conditions were incredible. The greens rolled true and really didn’t have a bad lie all day, even in the rough. The ladies in the pro shop were so nice and helpful. Go play this course, you will not regret it.
