About
The Wildhorse Golf Club is the first of three planned courses for the Robson Ranch Community outside of Denton. Designed by architect Gary Stephenson, the course opened the second nine in October 2002.
The signature hole is on the front, a 566-yard par 5 that requires a monster drive followed by two demanding approach shots.
Getting there : From Dallas take I-35 to Denton and look for the 35 W split. This takes you back towards the south to Fort Worth for 6 miles, where you’ll take the Robson Ranch exit. Drive 1.5 miles west and look for the course.

Course was fun, members changed my mind.
The fairways were in decent shape and the greens were recently punched (they were still sandy). The layout was fun to play. We played south to west. The staff was very respectful however the members were rude. They did not respect the pace of play when we had no where to go. They hit into us multiple times. Overall the course was great, but be prepared for entitled members that you’ll need to put up with.

Robson North/South
First time playing North course and it was awesome. Little short from white tees but in 20mph North wind it was fun. Course was in great shape even after greens showed to be aerated within last month. If you get a chance to play it don’t turn it down.

Slow greens
I would have rated the course conditions a 5 star if the greens were somewhat faster. The fertilizer on the greens is absolutely necessary but when I’m telling you I needed a 9 iron from 30’, that is slooooooooow. I have played this track when the greens are in great shape and I love it.

Always in Great Shape!!
I play this course frequently, and appreciate the hard work that they put into the maintenance. Greens were impeccable, as usual, and the rest of the grounds are well maintained. I only have to laugh that they could have alternated the 9's used that day, as it seemed as though every single hole played into the wind!! Had we played the East, we might have had a few more that played down wind. Regardless, I played well and really enjoyed the conditions that they are consistently able to provide.

Over priced
Way over priced. The course has very nice greens. There are no elevation changes and most homes are straight. If this were a normal priced course, I would return but way over priced!

Worth the Drive
I really enjoyed the course. There are a few elevation changes and some layup areas. Greens and bunkers were in excellent condition. There are good us of doglegs, and homes are set back from the course leaving them out of the "hitting zone". It's a very well thought out layout. I will definitely be back to see how the course plays after coming out of winter.

Windy, but fun
I had a great time at this course. The staff introduced me to the surroundings well and the track was fair. Wide Open with areas to bail out on each hole. The greens were in great shape and rolled true. Lots of great qualities in this course. I highly recommend it. Scenic views too!
