About
The Wildhorse Golf Club is the first of three planned courses for the Robson Ranch Community outside of Denton. Designed by architect Gary Stephenson, the course opened the second nine in October 2002.
The signature hole is on the front, a 566-yard par 5 that requires a monster drive followed by two demanding approach shots.
Getting there : From Dallas take I-35 to Denton and look for the 35 W split. This takes you back towards the south to Fort Worth for 6 miles, where you’ll take the Robson Ranch exit. Drive 1.5 miles west and look for the course.

Nice course
This is a nice course. Played South-West rotation. Practice facilities are nice. Greens were running fast. Get there early to roll some practice putts. Great experience and would recommend an afternoon tee time for reduced green fees.

Conditions were great!
Really enjoyed the round. Driving range was well set up.
Only issue was that the snack bar was not open during the middle of the day. Was really hungry and would have enjoyed some food at the turn.

always a good course
First time in recent memory the course wasnt backed up, we played in regulation, this is seriously a good course, just wish the prices could come down a little, with everything so expensive its nice to play a well groomed golf course.

Great Course
I was pleasantly surprised to see this normally private course available to the public. Greens were in great condition, fairways were in great shape as well. It would have been nice to have gps on the carts but distance markers were good enough. Not having power for mobile device was a surprise for a country club course too. All in all I would play this course and highly recommend it to others.

Make the trip
Been living in Dallas for a couple years and have made a point to play a ton of different tracks. This is one of the best public options in the Metroplex, period! Nice layout and facilities plus the entire place is in excellent condition!

Great course and staff
First time to play course. Will definitely play again. Staff friendly and went over and above to accommodate us.

Great Layout
Wildhorse golf course offers a great playable layout. All 27 holes are fun but I particularly like the North 9. Conditions were great. Greens roll true. Pace of play is fast, generally under 4 hours. This day round was particularly great as I had a hole-in-one on number 7 north. Staff was friendly and club house is great.

I'm 68 and shoot from the whites but this course has great fairways and even better greens
