About
The Resort Golf Club is one of Fort Worth's finest golfing destinations. The course sprawls across the rolling hills of north Texas and wraps around the shores of Eagle Mountain Lake. Mature live oaks line the narrow fairways, providing some tight holes with difficult shot selections that demand accuracy, but there are also holes with open, more forgiving tees. Golfers will want to make sure they bring a strong iron game when playing this golf course since there rock walls and bunkers strategically bordering the raised greens. There are also water hazards that come into play along the greensides and fairways. It is a golf course that will reward skill and strategy over strength alone. The 16th is one of the toughest holes but with a good approach and a bit of luck, there is an opportunity for a birdie.

Great Course but in horrible shape
The course layout is really very good and the price was fantastic. As they say you get what you pay for...even in the middle of the fairways there are vast areas with no grass. It was like hitting off of concrete.

Course conditions - a disaster!
Horrible fairways! Like trying to hit off of concrete. Greens about the same.

Well manicured greens well taken care of fairways construction upgrades have made it better since the last time

Decent Place to Play
The course was not in the greatest shape. Driving range was atrocious. The course overall was not in the best shape but it played well. Staff was great and overall I enjoyed my experience. Would still recommend because I’m sure it’ll get better.

Nice couse
Dormant conditions but in nice shape for the season. It isn’t long but fairly difficult. If you have a good round going 16 and 17 can ruin it.

Extremely poor condition
I have played this course many many times and found it to be an ok course. But this time everything was in extremely poor condition. No workers out trying to improve it. Just awful conditions. I won’t be back until possibly late spring or summer. Then if it’s bad, I won’t be returning again ever. Everyone in my foursome was disappointed with the condition even at the lower price.

The reviews dont due justice
I read the problematic reviews for this course, but having played here many times before, I think this is a great course for what you pay. The construction is a good thing because they are making improvements. Its very scenic and well laid out. There is only two holes that are to close together on the back 9 but other than that its a great place to play.
