About
The Resort Golf Club is one of Fort Worth's finest golfing destinations. The course sprawls across the rolling hills of north Texas and wraps around the shores of Eagle Mountain Lake. Mature live oaks line the narrow fairways, providing some tight holes with difficult shot selections that demand accuracy, but there are also holes with open, more forgiving tees. Golfers will want to make sure they bring a strong iron game when playing this golf course since there rock walls and bunkers strategically bordering the raised greens. There are also water hazards that come into play along the greensides and fairways. It is a golf course that will reward skill and strategy over strength alone. The 16th is one of the toughest holes but with a good approach and a bit of luck, there is an opportunity for a birdie.

Worst Condition
This course has a lot of promise in the past that I’ve played. It’s been several months since I was here. If you like playing on dirt, I would recommend it. The greens were lightning quick and pin placement unfair , I suppose to make up for the horrible condition of the course in general. I gather the local HOA bought the course recently and or promising to upgrade it. It will take some time to put this track in the condition that it deserves. Not sure I would even want to play it if it was free.

Not in playing conditions
Normally I’d recommend this course, however it is not in good shape right now. A lot of tee boxes being redone, and a lot of ground under repair going on. I get the winter golf conditions outside of that, but I’d wait for grass to grow in before playing.
Also, why so many twosomes?!? That kills pace of play. Every one was 2 groups deep on tee boxes, but nothing being done about it. Yet immediately after finishing they rush you off the cart?
Overall, a lot to work through today outside of golf itself.

Great course
My group consisted of four golfers. We all enjoyed the challenges with which this course provides. I was very impressed how well the course drains given the previous days of rain. We all played at a normal pace and never felt pressured to speed up. We were provided with beverages while playing on the course, which made it nice. The facility is well kept and every staff member provided excellent customer service. We were all very pleased, and would like to give the staff a big Thank You!! for providing us with great service and an enjoyable experience....

First round here in a while
Pace of play good, found a hot deal on Golf Now, fairways have no grass and are hard as a rock. Tee
boxes are mostly dirt. The hot dry summer seemed to have take a toll on the course. The greens are in good shape but don’t get above the hole.

The Resort
I was Really Dissatisfied with the food service in the clubhouse. We gave our order and after a long time we asked about our food and they FORGOT to turn it in.

The Resort is in great shape
Great round of golf for my husband and I the day after Christmas. The course is in great shape, fast because it is winter golf but we got a great price on Golf Now and we’re able to us an extra discount and got right on once we checked in. Pace of play was perfect, greens were very nice (they cover them) and we love this course. Everyone is very friendly!!!

Our first time there it's a short course just over 6,000 yards but it's a tough course it plays longer. Playing in December the course was in very nice shape. Would definitely go back again!

Rock hard fairways
Same as always. The Fairway is like hitting off a freakin concrete slab. Can’t get underneath the ball at all 👎👎
