The Resort Golf Club is one of Fort Worth's finest golfing destinations. The course sprawls across the rolling hills of north Texas and wraps around the shores of Eagle Mountain Lake. Mature live oaks line the narrow fairways, providing some tight holes with difficult shot selections that demand accuracy, but there are also holes with open, more forgiving tees. Golfers will want to make sure they bring a strong iron game when playing this golf course since there rock walls and bunkers strategically bordering the raised greens. There are also water hazards that come into play along the greensides and fairways. It is a golf course that will reward skill and strategy over strength alone. The 16th is one of the toughest holes but with a good approach and a bit of luck, there is an opportunity for a birdie.

Course in fair shape
Greens were in good shape
Marshal is a must for the course 2 groups in front of us were extremely slow and the last few holes the decided to play together so a group of 8

Course needs water
Course was hard as a rock. Greens we’re ok, but need to water at least the tee boxes. Could barely tee up. Layout is fun but course is in bad shape.

Great course!
Course is in really good shape considering it has not received rain in 2 months and temps have been over 100 for 30+ days. Middle area of the fairways are good and being watered daily. Greens are in excellent shape.

No cart girls
We had a noon tee time, the temp was already at 100. There was plenty of water coolers on the course but saw no cart girl until we were putting on 18. That’s unacceptable when the temp is that hot and we could have used some sport drinks snd ice. That’s not good.

Course pretty dry
Course was pretty dried out, but green were in pretty good condition.

Downhill
I have been playing this course very frequently this summer (About once a week) and the conditions of the course this past trip was the worst it has ever been. The fairways were like hitting on concrete. You almost hoped for your ball to be in the rough. However, the greens were in good condition.
Hot golf in July
Played on a Friday afternoon. Temperature was high which made the course less crowded. Greens in great shape. Rolled true. Maintenance workers were on the course watering greens in the heat. Water traps are improved and holding water now. Sand traps still need better sand, but improvements take time. Will be back!

In surprisingly sold shape
I play here once or twice per year. What stops me from
Playing more traditionally is the conditioning. Not today it was pretty darn good!
Greens were smother and medium speed (there all you can ever ask for). Bunkers were also in decent shape. Fairways were drying out but were still in fine shape also
