About
The Resort Golf Club is one of Fort Worth's finest golfing destinations. The course sprawls across the rolling hills of north Texas and wraps around the shores of Eagle Mountain Lake. Mature live oaks line the narrow fairways, providing some tight holes with difficult shot selections that demand accuracy, but there are also holes with open, more forgiving tees. Golfers will want to make sure they bring a strong iron game when playing this golf course since there rock walls and bunkers strategically bordering the raised greens. There are also water hazards that come into play along the greensides and fairways. It is a golf course that will reward skill and strategy over strength alone. The 16th is one of the toughest holes but with a good approach and a bit of luck, there is an opportunity for a birdie.

rough shape
This course is hard to navigate- running around and through housing. Some of the fairways are way too tight and parallel. Some holes are quirky, unnatural. Fairways and tee boxes were very dry- like they don't water much. Ball ran forever, sometimes through the fairways to OB or water. Course is in rough shape- needs maintenance.
A fine day of golf!
Enjoyed the day with a few friends. The course is in decent shape. Be sure to stock up at the clubhouse!

Great fall round!
Course in great shape, greens are probably 2 weeks away from greatness due to aeration. About 3:50 for 18 holes starting at noon

Bunkers and tee boxes need attention
It was my first time playing this course. Overall the course was in good shape but the bunkers were hard and need to be replenish with better sand. In some holes the tee boxes were dry and hard .

October Round
Great course in excellent shape. Greens rolled true, fairways in good shape. Tee boxes finally softer, no need for a jackhammer to tee up the ball. Only bad part is the quality of the sand in the traps. Get rid of the rocky Texas stuff.

Tee boxes were like concrete
Left after 4 holes. Play was slow beyond belief and the tee boxes weee so hard … broke multiple tee’s before I gave up and just threw the ball down and hit it
