About
The Resort Golf Club is one of Fort Worth's finest golfing destinations. The course sprawls across the rolling hills of north Texas and wraps around the shores of Eagle Mountain Lake. Mature live oaks line the narrow fairways, providing some tight holes with difficult shot selections that demand accuracy, but there are also holes with open, more forgiving tees. Golfers will want to make sure they bring a strong iron game when playing this golf course since there rock walls and bunkers strategically bordering the raised greens. There are also water hazards that come into play along the greensides and fairways. It is a golf course that will reward skill and strategy over strength alone. The 16th is one of the toughest holes but with a good approach and a bit of luck, there is an opportunity for a birdie.

Tee Box’s needed some love and the sand traps have rocks in them and could use a raking

Late and slow
Staff explained that there was a delay due to frost, but there really should have been no weather surprises. That was an hour delay and then the pace was horrible after that. A three group stack of men all playing a big money game together played very slow. 3.5 hours and 9 holes in and my partner and I were done. This ruined my experience and Made it a bit hard to appreciate the course.

First time at this course
First time playing this course, the layout was a bit confusing but I was able to navigate no problem , first tee box was rock hard, course was challenging and fun, overall a good experience

Solid course needs TLC.
Good course. The greens are ok, bumpy due to being punched recently. They need a Marshall. Sent a bunch of singles out. I think if I were the owner I would spend a day per hole and remove every rock from every bunker. It’s kinda sad that it’s that bad. Some really big rocks in bunkers. It could be fixed way to easily to not have already been taken care of. Tee boxes need a drink as well. I really had a good time. These issues could easily be corrected. I wonder if they have course managers. Seems like they need to make a change if they can’t find someone willing to delegate the small stuff.

rough shape
This course is hard to navigate- running around and through housing. Some of the fairways are way too tight and parallel. Some holes are quirky, unnatural. Fairways and tee boxes were very dry- like they don't water much. Ball ran forever, sometimes through the fairways to OB or water. Course is in rough shape- needs maintenance.
