About
The Resort Golf Club is one of Fort Worth's finest golfing destinations. The course sprawls across the rolling hills of north Texas and wraps around the shores of Eagle Mountain Lake. Mature live oaks line the narrow fairways, providing some tight holes with difficult shot selections that demand accuracy, but there are also holes with open, more forgiving tees. Golfers will want to make sure they bring a strong iron game when playing this golf course since there rock walls and bunkers strategically bordering the raised greens. There are also water hazards that come into play along the greensides and fairways. It is a golf course that will reward skill and strategy over strength alone. The 16th is one of the toughest holes but with a good approach and a bit of luck, there is an opportunity for a birdie.

Challenging
I always enjoy playing this course. The 16th hole is my favorite. If you’re looking for a challenging course and good pace of play I would recommend The Resort.

Too crowded
Overall: it was simply stacked! Rushed on every hole. People hitting into us on multiple occasions
Also, for a Saturday they should have more drink carts going around and more often too. We got a drink on hole number three then never saw one again till the 17th hole

Just not a good course
This place is not fun at all. No driving range to warm up and the putting green is nowhere the same as the actual greens. And it seems they tried their best to squeeze the course into a neighborhood. It’s almost comical how narrow the fairways are. The price is really cheap compared to other courses in the area. That’s probably the only thing it has going for itself. But I’d pay extra money to be on a real course designed to be a golf course . Not to see how many holes they can squeeze into that neighborhood. Will never go back

Run down
I understand were just coming out of winter but this was straight up horrible. Looks like there letting it fall apart horrible condition would not recommend this course . I've seen Pasteurs in better condition .

Needs help
Course I s in need of a lot of maintenance. No sand in traps. Greens haven’t recovered from being punched. New homes blocking view of lake. No cart girl on a Sunday, why?

Wrong day to play
Went all the way out there to find out that grounds crew decided to tarp the front 9 early in the morning due to weather that was coming in. They allowed us to play the back 9 twice but some sort of a heads up would have been nice. Bit of a drive but worth it. Will return when weather warms up.

Decent course
The grass and greens could be in much better condition I think. However I think with each booked tee time they should give at least a bucket of balls for the range as warmup

Resort golf.
I would say this golf course doesn’t feel like a resort every time I’ve played I haven’t had an exceptional experience but the course great in almost always in great shape. Never have a cart girl due to it being a retirement course probably. Greens are always in great shape and it’s a fun course.

Marshal needed on the weekend
I play this course 1-3 times a month, but only on weekdays. I played this course on a Saturday and the pace of play was horrible. The guy and I playing together (he was a perfect stranger to me) decided we needed to quit after hole 10. There was no way we could have finished the round due to course management. Waiting for 10-15 minutes to tee off is not an acceptable pace to play. People do not understand golf etiquette and there is not a marshal on the course to help move things along. I will not be back to play on any weekend.
