About
The Resort Golf Club is one of Fort Worth's finest golfing destinations. The course sprawls across the rolling hills of north Texas and wraps around the shores of Eagle Mountain Lake. Mature live oaks line the narrow fairways, providing some tight holes with difficult shot selections that demand accuracy, but there are also holes with open, more forgiving tees. Golfers will want to make sure they bring a strong iron game when playing this golf course since there rock walls and bunkers strategically bordering the raised greens. There are also water hazards that come into play along the greensides and fairways. It is a golf course that will reward skill and strategy over strength alone. The 16th is one of the toughest holes but with a good approach and a bit of luck, there is an opportunity for a birdie.

Sand traps are fixed!
I played a few weeks ago and their sand traps needed some serious maintenance but now they have been fixed and brought up to good quality conditions! Everything else about the course was already very good and stayed that way so keep it up guys!
Will play again
Nice course, friendly staff, saw beverage cart at 14 for the first time. Narrow in places but nice play. The greens were in great shape though the tee boxes were pretty hard.

Great course
Enjoy the layout and it plays very nice. Unfortunately the rain and lightning came and we didn’t get to play the back 9 but the front was a lot of fun and greens played well!

enjoyed most everything but 2 things should be addressed: maintain the sand traps so they actually play like sand traps and lots of the tee boxes need some serious watering because the ground is very hard to get a tee into...

Strategy Strategy Straegy
1st time at this course. A friend had recommended. It lived up to the billing and was worth the 50 min drive
The course layout means you have to be precise with tee shots on most holes. Some great shorter holes with doglegs With the exception of the bunkers(which were horrible) the course was in great condition with fast true greens. Would have rated 5 but for the bunkers. They desperately need the stones removed and new sand
Check in at the pro shop was easy and friendly.

Great tight layout course!
The course isn't that long but it is challenging since shot placement is at a premium! My only complaint is that the sand traps aren't maintained very well at all!

Worth it on slower days
We played on a Saturday morning, which I know is busy. But it got out of hand on the holes 11 through 14 which are all right next to each other and crowded as all get out. Several people skipped holes including us just to try to get ahead of this build up. The Marshall was not doing his job because there was one group that was holding everyone up. The course is in really good condition right now because of the rain we’ve had. The fairways are challenging because they are tight. I would definitely play this course again but only if it was a slow day.

Tough and beautiful course
Some of the fairways were incredibly narrow. You have to make sure to hit ‘em straight. Greens also tough to read. None of these things make it a bad course, just challenging. The course itself was in incredible shape. I was visiting from North Carolina, and there are some courses that aren’t as good as shape as this one. Well done by everyone!

Played under hot conditions. Not much shade where cool down a little bit.
