About
The Resort Golf Club is one of Fort Worth's finest golfing destinations. The course sprawls across the rolling hills of north Texas and wraps around the shores of Eagle Mountain Lake. Mature live oaks line the narrow fairways, providing some tight holes with difficult shot selections that demand accuracy, but there are also holes with open, more forgiving tees. Golfers will want to make sure they bring a strong iron game when playing this golf course since there rock walls and bunkers strategically bordering the raised greens. There are also water hazards that come into play along the greensides and fairways. It is a golf course that will reward skill and strategy over strength alone. The 16th is one of the toughest holes but with a good approach and a bit of luck, there is an opportunity for a birdie.

Fun and relaxing
This is a great course to go play because the course is in great shape and it's a peaceful place to relax.
Golf at Resort
I was extremely pleased with the layout and condition of the course! The greens were excellent!
Watch the Greens
The course was really nice for the price and well kept. I would say the main issue was the greens. They were very long which made it hard to putt on. You had to over hit your putt making it very difficult to read. They were still in great shape just long.
Improvement
This course and there staff have really improved since last year.
The Worst of The Worst
A little over 3 hours just to play the front 9. Had I not skipped playing 3 holes I'd probably still be there trying to finish and it's the next day. The most horrible time attempting to play a round of golf. I don't know if having Golfnow AND the Pro Shop scheduling tee times is a good idea or not. Somebody needs to pull their head out of their tail and get something figured out. The tee boxes are in dire need of a drink of water. The best thing about the day was I didn't have to deal with a rude member of the club this time. If it wasn't for playing in a benefit tournament next weekend I would probably have spent my last nickel at this place.
Pace and tee boxes horrible
This was our second time playing this course and it wasn't near as good as before. They literally overbooked for Sunday morning. I guess between GolfNow and the Pro Shop they can't manage time very good. When on the tee box you need to bring a hammer with you. Never once seen a concession cart. Along with overbooking the members of the club were pretty rude as well.

First time to play here
I had read some reviews on the lack of signage and it is true, some times you're not sure which way is the next hole. The greens were firm, the fairways were firm, and the tee boxes, well let's just say you might need a hammer to get you tee into the ground. I think the course could have used some watering. I dont know if they have a cart girl/person, but i never saw one.
Good place to play
We started playing a week ago but got rained out so went back and got a full round in. Really nice place. We have a tournament there in a few weeks and I plan on going back before hand and will definitely go back afterwards.
Rain!!
We took a chance on MotherNature and.....MotherNature won....we got 8 in and then the downpour. Needless to say we were done. But we'll be back. Everything that I seen and experienced was great. No complaints here.
Awesome course
I have been playing this course for 3 years and it is in the best condition since I started.
Leave the Big Dog!
Leave your driver at the house, you won't need it.
Course is very tight, in good shape and has a good lay out.

Great course
Very friendly staff. Greens were in great shape. This course has a great layout and can be challenging. I enjoyed the overall feel of this course. The tee boxes were in good shape and the greens were well taken care of. Overall great value for the price. I will definitely be back.
A good challange
Nice layout and in good shape. Calls for accurate tee shots with smaller undulating greens.
