The Resort Golf Club is one of Fort Worth's finest golfing destinations. The course sprawls across the rolling hills of north Texas and wraps around the shores of Eagle Mountain Lake. Mature live oaks line the narrow fairways, providing some tight holes with difficult shot selections that demand accuracy, but there are also holes with open, more forgiving tees. Golfers will want to make sure they bring a strong iron game when playing this golf course since there rock walls and bunkers strategically bordering the raised greens. There are also water hazards that come into play along the greensides and fairways. It is a golf course that will reward skill and strategy over strength alone. The 16th is one of the toughest holes but with a good approach and a bit of luck, there is an opportunity for a birdie.

What Could be an Awesome Golf Course

Golf Club at the Resort is tucked away on the East side of Eagle Mountain Lake. Beautiful gated neighborhood and a great layout that unfortunately doesn't get the attention it deserves from the greens keeper and crew.... Not sure if it is a budget situation or lack of interest.. Free Range balls which is always a plus and really nice Club House.. We played Sunday 11/19/17 and never saw a cart girl, in fact I don't think I have ever seen one anytime I have played the Resort. What could be a 5 star course if they put some effort in it. But for under $30..... we will play it again!

This course has everything...1. Brody in the pro shop was so great/accomodating/super friendly. 2. These holes have character! Fairways are tight...You'll appreciate being in the fairway because you had to hit a perfect shot...very rewarding. 3. Most of the greens are small...I LOVED IT. This course will always be one I return to because of the imagination of the architects and designers... This course will leave a lasting impression on a player who appreciates how golf should be played...

We've played this course several times & have loved it each time. It's in really good condition & is scenic, fun & very nice. We encountered a bit of a problem with the guy working at the counter. He was very rude. I think he must not have liked the fact we got a discount through this site. We've never had this problem before. It was very upsetting.

Played Golf Club at the Resort twice in last two weeks. Last time the course was "softer" than first time. When you cannot put your tee in the ground on the tee box, then you know the ground is hard. The hard ground caused balls to roll much farther than expected so it took a bit longer to find your shot. The greens on the other hand were very receptive and true. Overall I would recommend this course to others. It helped that I shot one of my best rounds of the year! :)

Great course. Greens are super fast. Only problem I had was that a member twosome jumped in front of us for a couple holes, then joined someone behind us. A fivesome let us play thru earlier ( members also) . Very nice guys. The marshal seemed to be watching them for the fun of it.

The course was really nice for the price and well kept. I would say the main issue was the greens. They were very long which made it hard to putt on. You had to over hit your putt making it very difficult to read. They were still in great shape just long.

The Worst of The Worst

A little over 3 hours just to play the front 9. Had I not skipped playing 3 holes I'd probably still be there trying to finish and it's the next day. The most horrible time attempting to play a round of golf. I don't know if having Golfnow AND the Pro Shop scheduling tee times is a good idea or not. Somebody needs to pull their head out of their tail and get something figured out. The tee boxes are in dire need of a drink of water. The best thing about the day was I didn't have to deal with a rude member of the club this time. If it wasn't for playing in a benefit tournament next weekend I would probably have spent my last nickel at this place.

This was our second time playing this course and it wasn't near as good as before. They literally overbooked for Sunday morning. I guess between GolfNow and the Pro Shop they can't manage time very good. When on the tee box you need to bring a hammer with you. Never once seen a concession cart. Along with overbooking the members of the club were pretty rude as well.
