The greens rolled true for this time of year. Great course to challenge even the advanced golfer

I had heard good things about this course from a couple of friends. However I was fairly let down, by how out of shape the course is. (Looks nothing like the photos.)

The fairways were muddy, and gravely, (not due to weather) just overall unkempt and some of the worst I have seen in quite some time. The tee boxes were below average. The greens were above average, but a touch grainy for my preference. The last few holes on the course are scenic with an island green and nice layout, however they do not make up for the first 15 holes. Overall I would say there are much better choices in the DFW area at the same price point.

Greens are true. Staff is friendly. I liked the course a lot.

This course has a few holes that are setup weird. Must play some good golf shots. Great course, paired up with a father son who are resident there. Explained the history of the course .

The course is in OK shape. Some of the tee boxes were hard to put a tee in the ground. The fairways were thin in some places but overall pretty good. The greens were OK. They showed a lot of traffic marks.

I enjoy the course very much. Wish there was a good app for the layout of the fairways. Without knowing the course, it's easy to get in trouble. But it has many challenging holes.

Im reluctant to give my honest opinion, in fear that this gem will soon be harder to play. This is by far the best kept secret golf course in D/FW. The greens are awesone, very fast, and true. Do yiurself a huge favor and visit. Some say the course is very challenging, but with 4 tees to choose from, all can enjoy. Bring your duvot repair tool, as these green will hold shots and everyone's participation in maintaining is evident. Take a little drive further out of the metroplex, and enjoy the awesone course, you will not be dissapointed.

Im sorry to say Im reluctant to giving my honest opinion.This is a jewel in the rough (pardon the expression). This is a nice track with many challenging, beautiful holes. The greens are exceptional fast, and true. Needless to say, I'll be back soon.

So we have a issues with this golf course in the past and took time off playing it. We booked a hot deal yesterday for 1152 and when we arrived at 1120 the parking lot was empty. Not surprised due to the unfriendly and hostile staff that has been then in the past. We checked in and had stated that the course looked empty for which it was. We got the cart key and asked the guy behind the desk if we were good to go to which he stated actually no you have to wait until 1152 before you go.....by this time it was 25 minutes til our tee time, it was Tuesday afternoon and nobody was there. We ask really to which the staff member replied is yeah you people book these hot deals and then come out 2 hours before your time and try to get on. We replied that well we aren't here 2 hours before it's on 25 minutes.... . We went up to the first tee and it was empty. No one was around. Now it was 1140 so we decided well we will go ahead and go. Halfway down the first hole the counter guy came out and threatened us that if we didn't turn around and go back up to clubhouse and wait til 1152 we would be thrown off the course. Ok I am a past pro and have ran golf courses and never ever ever spoke to a customer like that. We went back to clubhouse and spoke to his boss to which he said "well it's our rule.." what a joke!!!! Are you kidding me?? 22 minutes and they won't let you play until your designated time?? Ok if it were busy I would totally understand but there was nobody there!!!! This course has gotten worse and worse every time you play there and they treat their customers like absolutely terrible. We really didn't want to play there but decided to give it another chance and see if things had changed to which they didn't.

The time before this, one of my friends had gone out to play there and they forced him to share a car with an absolute stranger because they said they have new carts and need to get their moneys worth.

I think they need to start spending their money on teaching people customer service skills rather than worrying about making money on golf carts. If you don't have customers you can't sell rounds of golf and you definitely can't rent golf carts.

This is an absolute horrible place to play. I do not recommend this golf course to anybody and in fact I am considering writing a letter to the owners to let them know of the threatening nature the staff has towards its customers.

Golf now should consider pulling this golf course from their website.

I will never ever ever play there again!

Greens were nice and fairly quick. A target course requiring well placed tee shots. Sand bunkers were inconsistent. Good layout and some fairways were bald and firm.

Very nice course! Would have been worth it at the regular price!

Nice course to play anytime

Course is in great condition.

Played the course with a hot special. Greens are small and challenging. Fairway and Greens are good but a lot of the rough areas are sparse. Some areas even having sand burs. Still its a good course, challenging and fun.

Course is a little tight but it was the first time I played it. Would hit a lot more irons and hybrids off the tee. Greens were the best greens I've played in the price range I payed. Highly recommend this course! Can't be beat for the price!

This course says it has country club aspirations, to be honest the course wasn't worth the hot deal price. Cement hard bunkers, inconsistent fairways some muddy soft, because of what seemed like a water break, and some rock hard, the course just seems poor maintained. I will not return, fossil creek is the best bang for the buck

A really nice golf course, much more challenging than I anticipated. The course is not long. I didn't use my driver until the fifth hole, and didn't really need it then. Thare a lot of trees off the narrow fairways that come into play. A fair amount of water,and plenty of sand traps. The greens are fast and undulating. I was a little disappointed in the bunkers. The sand was pretty packed and looked like it needed to be turned over. Additionally, the water level in a lot of the ponds surrounding the greens seemed low. A very accomodating staff, and the members I played with were terrific!

Rough too rough. Fairways too hilly.

Course is worth the drive and a must play if anywhere in area.
