The Resort Golf Club

This was a nice course, but way over booked, we went to relax and play a fun game of golf and could not do so. There were about 7-8 parties crowded into the same tee time so there was never anytime to relax. Will not be returning

Ok; greens not rewarding good approach shots due to grnds crew hole process & greens fast, not reading true. (Roll & train crew how to select & install cup)

We play all over the area and this course has piqued my curiosity. The course has gone dormant so we want to try it again in the spring when things start greening up. The only downer was the 3 some in front of us in 3 carts that were holding play up.

This course was in excellent condition. It is even more empressive because of the drought. It is a Diamond in the rough. I will go back time and time again.

Challenging & Fun track, the greens are in great condition and the nineteenth hole is an added bonus. Good food and great service!

what could be better.

Great course for the price I enjoy the course I normally play it 2 or times a month.

I'll start from the beginning. Checking in was a fairly painless process. Access to the driving range was included in the green fee, which was nice. The driving range was in petty rough shape. The driving area was dead and pretty chopped up. Once the round began I found out pretty quickly that the tee boxes were so hard I could barely stick a tee in the ground. Also the fairways were much the same, hard as a rock. Making the second shot pretty difficult, like hitting off concrete. I had two holes where my ball rolled into water from the condition of the fairways. Where if they would have been in decent shape they wouldn't have. The greens were pretty good. They looked as though they didn't belong with the rest of the course

I have played this course in the past, but I have never seen it look quite this bad before. I doubt I will be back for a while.

The course is very dry...they told me they lost their water & had to resort to hand watering the greens (which are in good shape). If you don't mind tight / bare lies then it is worth playing...I had to roll a few balls to get minimal grass under the ball. If not, better call ahead to see if they got their water back.

Group in front of us was taking forever to play their shots and had apparently been drinking a lot, definitely too much to have been playing golf. We called the pro shop and they said they would come out and take care of it and they never did. That is not good service in any business. That was rather frustrating, a course ought to be able to help maintain the pace of play.

This course is relitively short but good challenging shots need to be made. From the tips it plays well for the above average golfer. Greens and fairways in real good shape.

The overall condition of the course was about a 9 out of 10. The greens were excellent, the fairways and rough were a little spotty.. The holes were varied, a little tight with trees, and there were a few quirky short holes. I was glad I was paired with some guys who have played it about a half dozen times to give me some sight lines and advice. Overall, the layout was very good, Pretty course with a friendly staff, I would play again with no hesitations.

Challenging course. Shot placement, especially off the tee is very important. Greens rolling nicely, fairways a little patchy in spots. Pro shop staff very helpful, and a nice bar & grill. Overall very pleasant experience ...

This course was a huge disappointment. A 100 degree day with cart path only holes for the majority of the course. The cart girl came around only once per nine. The fair ways were full of weeds and hard as a rock. This course could be very nice but it is very from it now. The greens were in good shape but that's it. If I were a member I would demand my dues back.

2 words too slow. Nearly 6 hours for 18 holes makes zero since

I have played this golf course in the past and was disappointed with the overall course conditions. The fairways were extremely hard and dry with numerous brown/dead patches. The staff was great and driving range was nice.

GC at the Resort is a great course overall. We had a little trouble playing thru a very slow group of 7 who had been drinking, but the course officials helped manage the situation. There are no marshals driving around, which lends to the casual atmosphere. The greens are in great shape. On the back nine, there is one set of 3 holes, where the fairways are all squeezed into the space sufficient for about 2. So watch your head, your aim, and your neighbor!

Overall a very good test of golf with very good tees, fairways and greens. Bunkers have good sand for explosion shots.

The negative was crabgrass in the rough and around the water hazards.
