Challenging par-3, #8 Photo submitted by ConnieBlack on 05/26/2014
Nice quiet course
Away from the hassle of neighborhoods and traffic. Love the tranquility of the course. It’s pretty crowded so they force foursomes which can be really frustrating if you are by yourself. Course is impeccable and love the fairways. Very straight course with relatively few hazards that come into play. Overall a great experience and I will continue to play here
Golf in the wild
I have got to find some more courses designed by this talented man. On a flat tract of wild land he carved and mounded a gem of a course. Even though relatively flat every hole will uniquely perk your interest with risk/reward shot values. There are ponds, swamps and beautiful wilderness areas to be navigated and undulating greens to master. Good Luck as you have a blast.
First time
It was my first time playing here since the hurricane. Overall the course was in good shape except for a few fairways. The greens are actually in good shape but needed to be mowed. Very slow..
Don't miss out
Just enough trouble to be fun.undulating greens and some tough pin locations made it challenge
Would play again
This is a very nice course. It was damaged by a hurricane a few months prior so it wasn't in the best shape, but there x were people everywhere working to put it back in shape. I played with 2 female members who were very nice. I would love to go back and play thus course again when it totally recovers from the hurricane damage.
Great course
Staff is always the most pleasant people. Have played a lot of different courses and they are the best. Course is getting better but still have a ways to go.
Carts still banned from fairways
Oh when, oh when? Please be merciful and end the ban on carts on the very well manicured and cured fairways!
The Wilderness
First time playing this wonderful course, not disappointed at all. Still working through some storm damage and facilities upgrades but will be worth it in the long run. It will be my new home course for many years to come, couldn’t be happier to grow my game at this location.
Great for the price!
Absolutely beautiful course for this area… some of the greens are still torn up from past hurricane. Cart path only on a hard course with wind and with bad knees wasn’t any fun but still had fun.
Can’t wait to play again
Cart path only trying… still trying to let some areas recover from Beryl.
Back 9 was being aerated so had to play the front 9 twice.
High school players were there practicing for an upcoming tournament.
Course was in good condition though and the greens were the best I’ve played on in a long time.
Looking forward to playing again when restrictions are lifted.
Solid course
Wilderness is worth every penny during twilight. 38 bucks a person. Pace of play was perfect and we had a twosome and finished 18 starting at 3:40pm. Only gripe is cart path only. Course has zero wet spots, and i can understand wanting to let the course recover, but 90° would be more than sufficient. Other than that everything is great. Shot 74 yesterday, so theres some good scores to be had. Greens rolling smooth
