Golfer Reviews
Nice golf course
Never played before, it was a great pace under 4 hours and the staff was very friendly. Enjoyed playing
Good solid course overall for the money
Well done Valencia! Your course was fun to play and enough challenge with variance in holes to make it interesting. Played with a father (86 years of age) and his step-son, but they were wonderfully close. Great Americans from the great smokey Mountains originally and were friendly, easy to get along with, with impressive job history's. I mention all this because it really does show how Canadians and Americans can come together from different 'walks of life' and show each other a good time. Great guys, great golf on a well maintained course with great staff. You really cannot go wrong at Valencia.
nice job with redesign
The course has had a makeover since I last played....a couple years ago. They redesigned quite a few greens. They cleaned out some overgrown areas off the fairways and rough.
Well done. Good condition on tees, greens, fairways.
OK, but not great
Nice layout, Fairways had a lot of brown spots and would of been nice to have a little more grass on them. Greens were OK. Would play it again and hope the price comes down a little for the condition the course is in.
Fairway conditions
Greens really fast, but fair. Fairway at too tight and needs water badly …. much too dry.
We play Valencia every year
My wife and I spend a month in Florida each winter and always play a few rounds at Valencia. Like all of the courses in the area, it is way overpriced during the busy season. We wait until mid afternoon and play at the greatly reduced rate of $99. The guy in the pro shop is standoffish, but starter and rangers are friendly. Layout is pretty open. There is water, but it doesn’t come into play very much. This time of year the grass is relatively dormant, so the rough is minimal. Greens roll pretty well and the traps are groomed regularly. We played it 4=times this year. Pace of play ranged from 4 hours to 4:20. This is our favorite among the public courses in the area.
First time. Nine holes.
Our daughter was visiting so we wanted to golf nine holes with her. Valencia is close by and fit our schedule.
Nice track
We enjoyed the course, its layout, the greens, the staff, all good. Typically pricy for in season non -members but it is what it is. Ve would play again for sure.
Green
Greens are very fast
I developed severe burning sensation in the face and sore throat probably from the pesticide. I hope they don’t use Roundup or similar agent
Watch for players starting on the back nine
I love Valencia always have. My recent round was very enjoyable, except for my lack of golf skills. But we moved along so well and then at the 10th hole there’s four people in front of us who we never ever saw the entire day so either they decided to start off on the back nine or someone allowed them to or for some reason or another they were ungodly slow and no one moved on And naturally people behind us were upset with us and the people behind them were upset with them. I’m only stating this because I respect the game and I respect the course.
