Course
Staff is exceptionally friendly.
Course is not difficult but the greens are tricky with undulations.
The clubhouse and pro shop are basic but who cares about amenities.
The rangers do a good job about pace of play so you can pretty well count on 4 hours and not much longer.
As for price it is competitive with other public courses in Naples.
Good value in expensive area
This course has a nice layout and forgivingly wide fairways, which is nice. But it is in no way an elite course! We played for about $105 at twilight and finished. Sadly, that is great value in Naples where most courses are wildly overpriced. Even Valencia is about $180 in prime time, which is double what a comparable course would cost in many prominent golf resort areas.
Ashamed to have paid this much.
$160 a tee time is absurd for this course. No option to just play 9 either (or at least the older gentleman was being a hard a, younger kid at check in was willing to work with me).
Bummy layout, barely repaired divots tee to green, and greens were beat to death with ball marks. Group in front of us of geriatrics were hitting 3 balls each off the tee. Only positive is the Marshalls were very friendly out on the course. Find a better track to play for $320/2some.
Over price for public coures
Greens slow and bumpy. Heavy play taking toll on course.
The price to play is high considering conditions just ok, for the price you would think carts would have GOS and practice area and balls is terrible for the price I would not recommend this
Love the course!
Came back to challenge ourselves to improve and we succeeded! Our pace was right on - but the foursome behind us should’ve made earlier tee times —- they were waiting for us to tee off at first hole … tip of the day: when you make a tee time don’t make plans 3 hours later. Don’t complain of the pace if you aren’t putting them all out either. We love Valencia - not going to let them ruin our round for their silly timing issues.
Less Then Advertised
Underwhelming is a word that comes to mind. Looks like this course gets a lot of play. The greens were peppered and had ball marks everywhere. Fairway lies and overall conditions did not live up to the price tag. Lots of areas in the middle of fairways that were "patched with sand". Overall I would not return. The layout provided a good challenge but the conditions did not fill the expectations/price tag. At 2pm and $155 a 4:45min round is unacceptable. Saw the beverage cart once on hole 4 and she said she was done foe the day, but the Golf Shop did have drinks available.
