Construction
Fog of dirt from construction vehicles makes it hard to see and breath of at least 7 holes.
The course ambience is greatly impacted by all the awful construction.
As a result, way overpriced.
Good value
Like this course. Nice people. Have played it many times. Layout and greens good and fast. Fairways not as nice as the private clubs I play but you will leave happy
Poor value
Golf carts had poor brakes and no gps, many patches of dried out grass, construction noise and dust on back 9, tees and fairways chewed up, poor value for the greens fees we paid. Plus side, staff couldn’t have been any nicer!
For more money play a decent course!
The price for the course was ridiculous. For and other $30 you could play a resort course in good shape. Fairways has little grass. Better to hit out of rough. Greens were dormant and fast. . To add insult to cost for a small bucket of balls (about15) it was $8 . A lot of construction around course. It was worth about $100 and not a penny more
Decent course, lousy rangers
Course was in good shape , played relatively easy (played from the gold tees). Rangers were jerks, though. The starter placed me with a foursome, and no fewer than two different rangers gave me crap by telling me they don't allow fivesomes. I told them to take it up with the starter, that the starter was the one that set us out as a fivesome (even though one guy in our group wasn't playing, just riding, do a stroke sustained years ago). The rangers just ignored my feedback and mumbled to himself.
Poor Pace of Play
This was one of the longest rounds of my life. The rangers stopped by on the front nine and we're not seen after hole 4. The course condition was good, but waiting 5 mins between each shot ruined it
Very nice course
We had a late afternoon tee time of 250 for $75. We had a good pace and played 12 holes before the sun down caught up to us. Course in very good condition and the pace of play was very good. When would recommend this course very highly
SLOW PLAY
Great staff, good layout ok condition all make it a fun afternoon which was ruined by horrible pace … we gave up with 3 holes to play at 4:40 minutes!!!! Inane with backups on some holes with 2-3 groups at tee… rangers don’t push pace

Construction going on but off the course. Did not bother us. I would rather see construction than houses.
Course is not ready to play
The course conditions were average and greens need some time to get better.
Significant house construction going on, especially on back nine.
Pro Shop is currently in a trailer of sorts.
Food service was minimal.
Pace of play was good as holes are wide open and marshal was active.
Green fee was too high for what was available.
Wait 5 years, and then try this course.
It’s Season!
This time of year in SW Florida all courses are packed and overplayed. Valencia was in good shape for the amount of play it gets this time of year. Two rangers roamed the course to insure pace of play was 4hrs. We love the course layout too.
