Beautiful course
I’ve wanted to play this course for many years and I’m happy I was able to play here today. The course is well laid out and feels more like a county farm vs a Chicago area suburb. The course is challenging for any golfer (myself included as a 13 handicap). This year so far has been a drought in this area and Stonewall Orchard only shows this in some of the heavy traffic areas. I feel the $77 weekday rate is very fair for this course....I wish I could have taken advantage of the late afternoon HOT Deals on Golfnow that saved $20+ per golfer. I’d certainly want to play this again in the future.
So beautiful
I gave a a four star for course condition only because of the goose poop on the green of the eighteenth green. Other than that the course is pristine even in the middle of a drought.

Worth the Drive
Great conditions. Always great to see multiple course marshall's keeping the pace of play moving, as well as clearing the course just prior to a much needed, short, downpour. We will be back

Bring your game
Great course, layout and service. Bring your game because you need it. No brutal but very challenging. Quick green with subtle breaks. Pick the right tee box and you can score. Tough but fair.

Played 1 week after Korn Ferry Monday Qualifier
Playing today after the Monday qualifier and course was in best shape of any course I have played this year. Greens were fast but fair and manageable.

As other reviews say, it’s a nice blend of challenge and forgiveness. Tranquil setting. Cool Egrets all over the place. Everybody was cool. Good day!
