Greens were slow and uneven. To many forced carries with a potential for many lost balls and penalties strokes.

If you never played this course you are missing out.very pricy but had to take advantage of golf now discount. This course will challenge all your golf needs.come out and give this place a try you won't be sorry.only thing got paired up with 3 guys that taught they were to good for the average golfer. Still had a great time

One of the most scenic courses in Illinois. The course in well maintained with a very friendly staff. Although it is a bit more expensive that other courses, the extra expense is well worth it. The course may feel overly challenging for a below average golfer given some challenging carry requirements off the tee, but average and above average player will find it exciting and challenging.

Played on a weekday. Round took 4hours and 40 minutes on a very hot day. Will not consider playing here again at these rates and that amount of time. There are better options at this price point.

I play here often and it's always in excellent condition. Lots of rain this year has probably helped. The only complaint I have is the greens have too many ball marks from customers not fixing their divots. Have the Rangers add the task of reminding golfers to fix their divots and we'll all appreciate it.

This is why I love Arthur Hills designs, challenging but also playable. There is plenty of room to drive the ball off the tee but the miss is often punishing. Visually, the course is outstanding with every hole being a quality golf hole. The course itself was in excellent shape and the greens, well, especially where the pins were on this day, tough with not so subtle but also subtle breaks. Well worth the play and a very enjoyable round. One thing - at a course with this price tag, a small bucket of range balls should be complimentary. Other than that small thing, course was fabulous and pace of play, good! Would recommend!

Back 9 was terrible. With no Marshalls going around everyone was stacked up on every hole. And there was a group where 2 men were riding a golf cart and another was walking. Why would you allow something like that? the ones who were riding would wait up for the friend who was walking. terrible. no golf etiquette. no consideration for the ones behind them.

Sand traps not up to rest of course standards. Slow play as club allowed practice for next day tournament. Extremely slow and not far to other guests who also paid to play. Club pro involved and extremely rude.

The course was in great shape as was the pace of play. Greens are in better shape than last fall and the traps are very well maintained.
