About
Olympia Hills Golf Course is very exciting and enhances San Antonio's reputation as a golf destination. A unique combination of natural topography and man-made mounds and bunkers make this a super course. Native South Texas vegetation and golf course grass seed formulations on fairways and greens will provide state-of-the-game playing surfaces. The views are spectacular, with several holes playing to greens well below the tees, while other lead to a significant rise to reach the putting surface. Fairways, which on some holes are tight, are often sloped and guarded by bunkers. The tips will not be played by the faint hearted, but with four sets of tee boxes, the course can be enjoyed by all levels of players.

Greens are poorly maintained
This course is too expensive given the condition of the greens. The rest of the course is in great shape. The poor greens plus the high cost makes this an easy pass
Good design, needs better upkeep
This is a good course and challenging. The greens many were in poor shape with bald patches and uneven with invasive grass dpecies. With good maintenance this could be 4.5 stars.
Enjoyable round of golf
Great layout with nines that offer different features. Greens need a little work, not otherwise course was in very good shape.
A little bit pricey, but not so much to keep you away.
Terrible greens
The fairways in decent shape. The greens are bad… very bad! The pace was terrible, took almost 5 hours to play 18. I have more stars due to the 2 course Marshall’s. Both very nice gentlemen.
Olympia
It is one of the courses we play the most. We have never had a bad round here. Staff is friendly and nice. The bar is quick to get you on your way when you stop in to refill the beer cooler.
Since we have had some good storms this year it’s very green and not dried out.
Missing key ingredient
The course and staff overall, besides the greens, were excellent. HOWEVER, there was more mud on the greens than actual grass. The greens were so bad that the old saying "...better than being at work" did not apply. I feel like it was a total waste of time and money and I'm quite disappointed to be honest. I know this course well and I fully expect them to recover, but they really shouldn't even be open at this point.
Green conditions
Overall course is nice. Problem was greens were in very bad condition. Fairways were good
Greens are horrible!
Worst greens in the San Antonio metro area. Might as well have been putting on dirt while trying to play plinko. With all of the rain we have had in May and early June, no excuse for the poor conditions.
Upgrades
This course needs to be upgraded, the fairways are descent but the greens!!!! Wow almost impossible to get a good put on them. It was fun to play except for the greens
Horrible Greens!
Visited from out of state. Been playing about 15 years, and top 3 worst greens I’ve ever seen. Rest of the course is good. However the greens just ruin it. Management needs to provide some TLC to the greens to make this course worth even playing. Would not recommend. Wouldn’t even pay $15 to play again.
Lost the greens
Course has lost the greens, mostly putting on dirt. Very few greens have grass to putt on. Most pin locations were in areas of green that had no turf
