Olympia Hills Golf Course
About
Olympia Hills Golf Course is very exciting and enhances San Antonio's reputation as a golf destination. A unique combination of natural topography and man-made mounds and bunkers make this a super course. Native South Texas vegetation and golf course grass seed formulations on fairways and greens will provide state-of-the-game playing surfaces. The views are spectacular, with several holes playing to greens well below the tees, while other lead to a significant rise to reach the putting surface. Fairways, which on some holes are tight, are often sloped and guarded by bunkers. The tips will not be played by the faint hearted, but with four sets of tee boxes, the course can be enjoyed by all levels of players.

Greens are horrible!
Worst greens in the San Antonio metro area. Might as well have been putting on dirt while trying to play plinko. With all of the rain we have had in May and early June, no excuse for the poor conditions.
Upgrades
This course needs to be upgraded, the fairways are descent but the greens!!!! Wow almost impossible to get a good put on them. It was fun to play except for the greens
Horrible Greens!
Visited from out of state. Been playing about 15 years, and top 3 worst greens I’ve ever seen. Rest of the course is good. However the greens just ruin it. Management needs to provide some TLC to the greens to make this course worth even playing. Would not recommend. Wouldn’t even pay $15 to play again.
Lost the greens
Course has lost the greens, mostly putting on dirt. Very few greens have grass to putt on. Most pin locations were in areas of green that had no turf
About
Greens were in horrible shape, worse I might have ever played on. Definitely not for what they charge for a round. Layout for course was challenging, but all of that was negated when you arrive onto the greens...Also rented clubs (Left Hand) set was over 13 years old and one wedge (PW) in whole bag. Make things worse putter grip had no rubber left what so ever on the grip. Course pictures online are definitely deceiving.
Tee Boxes and Greens Not Good!
The greens were in horrible shape and tee boxes were not in good shape either. Fairways were nice, but work was also being performed on some sand traps as well. Based on the overall condition, its too expensive to play again.
Good course…terrible greens right now
Pro shop staff was great. Beverage cart girl was very social and always smiling.
Parts of course were a little soggy and muddy due to recent rains. The worst part was about half, if not more then half of the greens were not even worth putting. Greens had dead patches that were dirt all over, never knew which way your ball would bounce. Overall a good course, will go back again.
Challenging course
Olympia Hills is a challenging but fun course to play. Unfortunately the greens are difficult to putt on due to disrepair.
Beautiful course but greens are rough
The course is challenging but fun, except the greens. The greens on 90% of the holes are filled with patches of dirt and make’s putting very tough! Even at 5 feet it was rare to make when I’m usually 80% or better
Decent
Staff was great. Fairways were in good shape, but the greens were in very bad shape. love the course layout and the topography of the holes, the greens just need some love.
Course has nice layout
Course was great greens were not so good shape. The pace of play was fast less than 3 hours. Made my game and tempo better. Fun course great for beginners and middle class golfers
Slow play
Love the course but apparently they got hit with some flooding and some of the greens were a bit damaged. Nothing that really effected the play but did look bad. However the course allowed a 6 some to play and on the front nine we waited 15 minutes and more before we could tee off on every hole. They did let us through on the back but 6 is too many even if they were low handicap players and these guys were not.
Terrible Greens
Played here before and I liked it so I invited some out of town friends to play and I was embarrassed for the greens was in worst conditions that I just covered all my friends’ green fees. . I should have known and went somewhere. I will not play this course for now.
Rough Greens
The greens were all dirt! Hardly any grass. Definitely going to wait a season to come back here
Greens in terrible shape
Greens on almost every hole in terrible shape - mostly dirt and low cut weeds. Hard to believe after all of the rain we had recently. Some hole layouts are borderline unfair with blind tee shots.
