About
Olympia Hills Golf Course is very exciting and enhances San Antonio's reputation as a golf destination. A unique combination of natural topography and man-made mounds and bunkers make this a super course. Native South Texas vegetation and golf course grass seed formulations on fairways and greens will provide state-of-the-game playing surfaces. The views are spectacular, with several holes playing to greens well below the tees, while other lead to a significant rise to reach the putting surface. Fairways, which on some holes are tight, are often sloped and guarded by bunkers. The tips will not be played by the faint hearted, but with four sets of tee boxes, the course can be enjoyed by all levels of players.

Decent
Greens suck still…bumpy and slowww. Still some boxes that are hard as a rock. Not sure why they don’t punch those so we can get a tee in the ground lol
Hills didn't disappoint
The hills and breaks definitely added a challenge to the course. The greens were good but needed a little work on some of the holes. If I could give the staff 10 stars I would. The gentleman at the counter worked with us on timing and had an overall great attitude. Definitely will return.
Great condition
Course fairway and greens were in great condition. The course is challenging, especially for the first visit.
Course still recovering
Recently aerated so greens and fuzzy and growing, course conditions are getting better every week.
Pace of play
Played there 3 weeks in a row, with a group. We selected varying tee times . Early, middle morning, and late afternoon. All close to 5 hour rounds. Brutal!
Course is awesome, we won’t be returning due to extreme slow play
Tough front nine with challenging drive locations and well guarded greens
It was a slow Saturday, 5 hours, no sense of urgency by course marshall or players.
Greens were terrible, aerated, sanded, and tons of dimples. Uphill putts required a mallet.
I love the challenging front nine. Bring sunblock for the back nine as the woods disappear for a wide open unshaded layout, with a plain jane feel.
Lack of water on greens and fairways showed multiple burnt out conditions, although this is understandable for the draught summer we've had so far.
The course was very challenging
Really enjoyed the round. Challenging holes with soft greens and good fairways. Tee boxes were so-so but managed. I will be back.
Great Course to Play with lots of Variety
We played early on a Sunday morning in August. Even in a severe drought this year in Texas, the greens were perfect and the fairways were green. Lots of elevation changes made it fun and challenging. You need to keep it in the fairway to lower your score, but getting out of trouble was not that difficult. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone from beginner to advanced players. The course is long, so tune up your driver for the fun.
Great Conditions
I was very impressed with the conditions. Greens, tees, and fairways were in excellent shape despite drought conditions here in SA
