Olympia Hills Golf Course

The length on the red tee box is very different from the length printed on the scorecard.

It was very confusing.

When I contacted Marshall, he told me that the card was printed a long time ago and that the length of the current women's red tee box has been modified.

Awesome course great layout very challenging would not recommend for beginners. Only issues were with the greens and the cart girl was nowhere to be seen. Finally saw her on our way to the 18th hole. I’d maybe attribute the state of greens to the lack of rain here in SA this summer? Staff was friendly. Field Marshall was telling us to pick up our pace of play but there was literally no one behind us waiting on the tee box at any hole so not sure what his deal was. By the time we got to the next hole 4some in front of us was leaving the green. So a little confused with that he was talking about. Wasn’t rude just had us confused. Will continue to play here

Fairways very good. Greens, recovering nicely. Other than a few dead spots it’s in great condition.

First time I played this course I was amazed. The fairways were pristine and even checkered, and the greens were fantastic. That was a couple years ago now, and that has changed. To be fair, we’ve been in a drought, and the conditions weren’t as bad in my opinion as some of the reviews would suggest. However, the bunkers are a disaster. Just dirt and rocks, and the greens had some pretty bad patches. Fairways were in good condition overall, though.

The main problem at Olympia is the pace. Always a 5+ hour round.

The course has so much potential. It’s a fun layout and can be as challenging as you want it to be.

A very good and challenging course. The staff was great and very accommodating. The value, for the time of tge day we played was excellent.

Certainly we will play again this course.

Terrific outing..good layout..just a few greens that are a little choppy/bare spots..nevertheless, good course! I’ll be back!!

Had a wonderful time golfing at OH! Shot my best round (83)@ this course. Some greens need a little TLC..nevertheless, wonderful course with a terrific layout!

In SA for a convention and clubhouse took a fifth no problem! Warned us of slower play ahead (1 walking in 100’ heat) felt like Marshall could have helped us out. We skipped them at 12 and finished at 4h30m. Greens were good, with a couple needing work. Fairways were great. Good challenging course with beautiful views and lots of wildlife. Will play again!

I've played Olympia Hills plenty of times but this is the worst condition I have seen the course in. The greens have dead patches and the they were extremely bumpy. Also, every tee box was hard as a rock. I know it is hot and dry in Texas right now, so it is too be expected but it is not ideal to play at this time.

The course is good I’ve played there before it was my first Time to reserve a tee time through GolfNow but I had to cancel because I had a medical issue

The greens were slow and bumpy. Course was not in good shape

Fairways were in great condition, especially considering Texas heat. Greens were punched recently and are recovering nicely. Lots of really fun holes, a few weird holes. Long par 3’s. Few areas where you can’t see your landing area.

Overall great value and lots of fun. I’ll be back soon!
