Olympia Hills Golf Course

It was a slow Saturday, 5 hours, no sense of urgency by course marshall or players.

Greens were terrible, aerated, sanded, and tons of dimples. Uphill putts required a mallet.

I love the challenging front nine. Bring sunblock for the back nine as the woods disappear for a wide open unshaded layout, with a plain jane feel.

Lack of water on greens and fairways showed multiple burnt out conditions, although this is understandable for the draught summer we've had so far.

Really enjoyed the round. Challenging holes with soft greens and good fairways. Tee boxes were so-so but managed. I will be back.

We played early on a Sunday morning in August. Even in a severe drought this year in Texas, the greens were perfect and the fairways were green. Lots of elevation changes made it fun and challenging. You need to keep it in the fairway to lower your score, but getting out of trouble was not that difficult. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone from beginner to advanced players. The course is long, so tune up your driver for the fun.

Just moved from AZ to TX and this was literally the first round I played here. Loved the course itself, despite the drought the elevation changes are great. Apparently this course is managed by a bunch of teenagers who think it's ok to allow TWO different five sums on the back 9 which was ridiculous. When I asked to play through (as a single) they were rude and told me off. I have been golfing for years in AZ and have never seen this once! I alerted the starter and basically he told me they cater to their regular customers more then they seem to care about anyone else. Will not be going back or bringing anyone else here ever after that

The greens and fairways are in very good condition especially considering the lack of rain this summer.

Overall the experience was great! Given the weather that it had poured the day before and that morning, it was still better than many courses at their best. The staff are very professional and positive.

The day I played the high was about 102 degrees. Obviously, we have had a lot of triple digit days this summer. I've played many courses this year that show signs of drying out on the fairways and greens. However, I was very surprised of how good the greens and fairways looked at Olympia Hills. I'll be going back soon.

We love the challenges that this course provides. It can be very hard but is also a lot of fun when things are working out.

Course is very fun, really cool layout. Overall in decent condition greens could use a little work other than that very fun.
