About
Olympia Hills Golf Course is very exciting and enhances San Antonio's reputation as a golf destination. A unique combination of natural topography and man-made mounds and bunkers make this a super course. Native South Texas vegetation and golf course grass seed formulations on fairways and greens will provide state-of-the-game playing surfaces. The views are spectacular, with several holes playing to greens well below the tees, while other lead to a significant rise to reach the putting surface. Fairways, which on some holes are tight, are often sloped and guarded by bunkers. The tips will not be played by the faint hearted, but with four sets of tee boxes, the course can be enjoyed by all levels of players.

Very nice municipal course
Most of course was in great shape. Some of the greens were a little rough considering the amount of rain we had received in the weeks prior. Otherwise would have been a 5 star.
Gem of a course!
Unexpected delight of a course! The rate was inexpensive and so we were expecting an average public course. We were delighted to find a great course with challenging terrain, lovely views and great condition! We will definitely go back!!
Challenging and Always Worth It
This course has easily become one of our favorites to play. A few of the greens have areas under repair but pins were placed away to keep them out of play. Fairways were in great condition, though the sand traps were suffering from all the rain the area has had lately…not an issue if you stay out of them!

Great golf destination
This course has lots of elevation changes and challenges. Playing from the forward tees is still very much a challenge. Both the fairways and greens were well kept. We let a couple of smaller groups play thru and still finished at a good pace of play. Condition of course improved my personal game and would like to return sometime soon.
Good Condition
Overall the course was in excellent condition. Due to the recent rain, the sand traps were hard, damp, soggy, & puddled. The Greens & fairways were in good condition. A little pricy
excellent will be better when the new gps is installed
Favorite place
This is our favorite local club. The people are the best. The course is always in great shape. There is a lot of working going on but I never count that. It is all improvements. That is why it is always packed. It does slow down okay as so many golfers are unfamiliar with golf etiquette. I noticed today there was a Marshall flying around the course but he did nothing to speed up play. In fact, he actually slowed okay as he was obviously friends with a 2some In front of us. Instead of looking for their list balls while waiting for the group in front of them, they were standing around with the Marshall having a great time. Once the other group left so did the Marshall and the. They started looking.
Early morning round
Overall condition were very good, green roll out nicely.
Front nine and back nine almost like playing to different golf courses. With more elevation on front and much flatter on the back.
