Olympia Hills Golf Course

While this course is going through construction, and green restoration, there’s a few holes closed and temporary greens on the holes that you do play. However for only $25 you can play all day and it includes a cart rental. There’s no better value around San Antonio, for the time being.

Corse still has temporay greens and 3 holes closed. Cost if 25 to play all you want for the day . Good deal. When they finish in a month or so this should be a great course.

The original greens are looking really good.

Overall a good price

Course currently using temporary greens on fairways in front of regular greens. Also, some holes are under construction and can't be played. The fairways were in great shape. For the price, it was a good value, but don't expect true lines on greens.

You need a good Marshall to keep eveything going at a good desent pace.

My friend and I enjoyed our time on the course. The temporary green was very playable. I can’t wait until renovations are complete. I will for sure be back to play the actual green. Hailey was an amazing cart girl as well. Very friendly and didn’t have to wait hours for her to make it back around. We will be back for sure!

There was no info on Golf Now about this major maintenance and temporary greens that were painful to play. This track should not be open. 3 holes were also completely closed off so it was just a really bad experience.

Although this course is under construction and playing using temperary greens the overall playing conditions are great.

Poor conditions now but potential to get better when greens are back to normal

I’ve been into golf for a year now. The first time I played I was hooked! With Olympia Hills being in the condition that it’s in, allot of very good golfers do complain, but I see it as a perfect place to practice to get better at this complicated game. I feel the course is still making back for its buck on the deals they have going on. Everyone is so friendly and the atmosphere of the course is so nice, I can’t wait to see how it is going to look once it’s completely rehabbed! I am thankful for this place and I will continue to come here and play as much as I can and I will STILL come here once things are in order and the prices go up! It’s so worth.

The temporary greens on the fairway significantly shortened the holes by about 30 yards, impacting the play experience. Additionally, the group of seven ahead of us, combined with the course marshal allowing players to continuously play through after already completing the course, disrupted the tee times and severely slowed the pace of play. It took us two hours to complete just three holes, leading us to leave our game and request a refund at the clubhouse.

We've played this course before and have noticed that the intervals between tee times are too tight. Until they address this issue and improve their scheduling, we won't be booking here again.

Temporary greens, course it’s self was in good shape

Redoing the greens so every hole is 50 yards shorter with a fake green cut into the fairway grass. And they pack so many people into such little time. It was mayhem running into other groups all over the place. Definitely won’t be back anytime soon no matter how cheap it is.

There are only 15 holes öpen as all the holes are are under renovations.

I had such an amazing experience as a new golfer. The staff in the store was so helpful and gracious. I learned about golf lessons and how to utilize the driving range. A staff member also came out to check up on me and advise me along the course. Olympia Hills is beautiful and the landscape is luxurious to see. Come on out!
