ShadowGlen Golf Club

This is a really fun course. The layout is nice the holes have a wide variety of shot required. The one thing I’ll say is I recommend playing the ball up at this course the fairways get a little hairy in some spots.

Course was in good shape. Greens were rolling medium, and straight. Back 9 was challenging, but great scenery.

The layout is enjoyable. the rewards and penalties for my drives were fair. The grass on fairways is a bit long but not too bad. Green seemed a bit slow but that's to me, but I am from north Texas, and the locals I played with didn't seem care. I really liked the scenery of back nine. The views were beautiful. The starter (forgot the name) was very friendly and nice, making my impression on the course very positive, Overall, it's a good course with nice people and beauty. There are some maintenance issues but the conditions match to the price I paid I think.

Awesome fairways, best in the Austin area. One of the only courses that put money back into it and overseed during the winter with rye. Fairways are thick and lush, all other courses in the Austin area are not even close in quality.

Played on a Saturday, teed off around 10:30 finished little after 3pm. could of played faster but the group in front where some really bad golfers, the staff cant do anything about that but course was still in great shape, staff was extremely professional some of the best in Austin.

The pace of play was atrocious!!! The round took close to 5 hours and we had to wait 10 plus minutes on each tee box. Didn't see one marshal during our 5 hour round. Shadow Glen is becoming teravista with the pace of play. I was playing Shadow Glen around 2 times a month but after the last two rounds taking this long i will probably start looking elsewhere to play. Such a shame because this was one of the better courses around Austin.
