About
Lakewood Country Club of Naples sprawls across 52 lush acres that is home to an abundance of wildlife, including several different bird species. Located just outside of downtown Naples, Marco Island is just a few minutes away. The golf course snakes around four freshwater lakes, the sparkling waters contrasting beautifully with the native trees and shrubs that border the fairways and greens. The par-60 course is ideal for beginners, offering a round with a conveniently quick pace of play that will still put your short game skills to the test. Making putts is particularly challenging. Most of Lakewood Country Club of Naples's greens are elevated and you'll encounter water on 14 holes. There are also 28 bunkers strategically placed throughout. Every hole has a risk-reward scenario in play, which keeps the low handicappers happy but also gives new golfers the confidence to tackle the golf course without the fear that it's too much to handle.

Fun little course
Fun little course to tune up your short game inside 136 yards
With challenging small greens.
You can pull your driver out on a few tight holes.
I enjoyed it and will come back

Course is not worth the current price of approximately $40. The greens have recently
been aerated and are very rough, only the back
nine holes were open, and they still do not have cups for the ice and water ( since Covid). Course was almost empty and there were no golf carts ready to use.
best day on course
went out early and had my best day on the course. only could play back 9 but course was in good shape even though raining everyday.
Super Quick Round
Booked as a last minute close to our AirBnB, I should have figured something was up when on a Saturday all the tee times were available (golfnow listed this course as recommended)
The front 9 was closed so we had to play the back 9 twice, no par 5, and 2 par 4s that were no more than 250 yrds from the tees. All the rest were par 3 100-140 yrds.
The up side we finished 18 in under 2hrs, the downside is had we known this was the course amd the front was closed we for sure would have gone somewhere else.
Great Course and Staff
This course is a great course and is sometimes a little difficult but always fun.
Great round for the money
Well maintained course. Greens were great (some are small). New carts. Staff was friendly & helpful. Overall nice course. Will definitely play again.
Lakewood Country Club
I arrived at 7:30 am for an 8:00 tee time. I was extremely disappointed to learn that the front 9 was closed and unplayable and that I had to play the back nine twice (although the nice woman in the office asked me if I wanted a refund to play only 9 holes). I should have been notified that this was the case before I got there. It’s a very short executive course.
Value for $
$30 off season for 2 times around back 9 in < 2 hours before rain on a short course in such nice condition is a great value for $.
Hot Fun in the Summer
Although it was incredibly hot, we had a great time. Pace of play was excellent (18 holes in about 2 hours) and the course was is great shape with only a few wet spots. Best of all lots of COLD water provided on the course. Well worth it. Very enjoyable.
short game challenge
Frontnine were closed but loved this course anyway. Fpr practicing your short game Lakewood is perfect. Steven and John from the proshop are fabolous. Run their business with a big heart.
Great course for your short game.
I enjoyed working out the short game on this par 60 course. Though it's a short course, it was in excellent condition, with good greens. Even though they had been recently aerated, they played consistent. I would definitely go back when I'm in the area again.
No Driving Range
The online system said it had a driving range but when I arrived, I learned it did not.
