Lakewood Country Club of Naples sprawls across 52 lush acres that is home to an abundance of wildlife, including several different bird species. Located just outside of downtown Naples, Marco Island is just a few minutes away. The golf course snakes around four freshwater lakes, the sparkling waters contrasting beautifully with the native trees and shrubs that border the fairways and greens. The par-60 course is ideal for beginners, offering a round with a conveniently quick pace of play that will still put your short game skills to the test. Making putts is particularly challenging. Most of Lakewood Country Club of Naples's greens are elevated and you'll encounter water on 14 holes. There are also 28 bunkers strategically placed throughout. Every hole has a risk-reward scenario in play, which keeps the low handicappers happy but also gives new golfers the confidence to tackle the golf course without the fear that it's too much to handle.

Fair weather course
An appropriate choice given the ridiculously expensive cost of golf in Southwest Florida. A fairly challenging layout with small greens to make it mostly target golf. Also with OB and water coming into play on most par 4s. Still a nice outing with friends if you aren't in a hurry.
Fun on Super Bowl Sunday
Nice course with no pressure to pair up with extra players.
Nice day of golf!
Teeboxes, greens in good condition. Fairways a little thin in some areas. Most holes are straight forward with some interesting holes mixed in. We started around 15 minutes late. Staff was great. Course was crowded but pa e of place was okay. 3.5 hours on a par 60 course. I wpuld go back for another round.
Fair weather course
Fairly good executive layout with a few par 4s. Greens are small but in good shape. Fairways are narrow in places with OB on one side and water on the other. Very busy with walk-on singles fitted in where spots were open. Started a few minutes late and had to wait on several holes to tee off. Pro shop limited in golf wear and equipment and there are no food and beverage carts or lunchroom on the course. Pricey for this course which should not be called a Country Club.

Great Course to sharpen your short game. Small greens that were in very good shape.

This isn’t a competition course but a great little course for fun. Great for improving short game. Small greens. Staff is very friendly
You get what you pay for
Nice layout and very friendly employees. Course is beat up greens fairways lousy. Expensive for what you get but not any different than all the other courses out here that raise their prices ridiculously in season. 4 hour round
