Lakewood Country Club of Naples sprawls across 52 lush acres that is home to an abundance of wildlife, including several different bird species. Located just outside of downtown Naples, Marco Island is just a few minutes away. The golf course snakes around four freshwater lakes, the sparkling waters contrasting beautifully with the native trees and shrubs that border the fairways and greens. The par-60 course is ideal for beginners, offering a round with a conveniently quick pace of play that will still put your short game skills to the test. Making putts is particularly challenging. Most of Lakewood Country Club of Naples's greens are elevated and you'll encounter water on 14 holes. There are also 28 bunkers strategically placed throughout. Every hole has a risk-reward scenario in play, which keeps the low handicappers happy but also gives new golfers the confidence to tackle the golf course without the fear that it's too much to handle.

First time golfing in 2024
Lakewood CC in Naples appeared to be jammed pach. No golf carts were in queue but one was quickly made available for us to use. Very busy day on the course but pace of play was excellent. Never had to wait before teeing off on front 9 and only twice for a few minutes on back 9. Finished 18 in 2:50 minutes even though several holes were cart path only due to soggy conditions. Great staff were very professional and attentive. Great place to work on your short game while be able to hit driver on several par 4 holes.
Short game practice
Coming from up north I needed to practice my short game. This layout was ideal for that practice. I am going back to gain some more feel. Tiny green makes my task idea. Condition ok for my needs.
The course was okay for a short course and playing for the first time in a while. Everyone was friendly there. We enjoyed it.
Overbooked
They overbooked to the point that we were waiting for up to 30 MINUTES on each hole. We gave up after 9 holes. Ridiculous!
Nice short course, good value.
Nice 'executice' course. Good for par 3 practice. Pleasant layout and natural surroundings. Greens small and in good condition. Tees a bit rough but didn't affect our game. Good pace of play when we played. Friendly reception Good value for money

Short and fair
Nice short course. Mostly par 3's. Challenging greens. Nice course for older golfers and beginners. Very friendly staff. Check in very friendly and made me feel special. I would recommend this course. Nice course layout.
Fun course
Fun executive course which is still affordable. The course is still in good shape in December. Pace of play has also been good.
Great little course
If you to dial in your short game. This is the place. Greens are tiny but you are at most 115 yards in. Greens roll true and quick.
